Mental wellness recovery from library staff.Had a high speed accident was stuck in town, so visited library to escape from heat and to make plan how to pick up pieces.Both library staff, were beyond amazing.# organised add on Facebook.# patiently listened to me complaining.# allowed me to use power point to send timesheet to employer of a job fired from.# allowed me to gave a shower.# gave me a local knowledge and list of where to go for food etc.# gave me a mango on way out.What didn't realise at time that the kindness of strangers was instrumental in my own mental recovery.So if your passing through looking to escape heat, use the wifi or have a friendly chat.Stop here, you will feel mentally and physically better leaving than when you entered.Thankyou for every thing.

Called library for help after difficulty with Northern Territory Border Entry form. Mim was so helpful and even when it was close to closing time nothing was too much trouble. Mim assisted us in getting it done much to my relief. She is worth her weight in gold, when travelling and you need information just call at Hughenden Library.

This has got to be the best library....not only because you can use as much internet as you like...its free there is a cold water kiosk...book exchange program nice cool aircon for hot days but for Lady Mimzi..You will not get a librarian who is so devoted to organising and helping people to find that book you've been looking for!!...but for accommodation work and what's going on in town...when you get to this town...you head straight to the library Mim has it all for everyone its true!!
