Beautiful vista however if you plan to stay for awhile be aware that there is no shade or seats. The road up is very rough and steep at the very end. Google maps directions will send you in circles so best to take a hard copy map with you.

This location is truly tops !Well worth the effort after a 17km drive accessed from turning off the Lakes Way onto Sugar Creek Rd .The trail is mostly an unpaved dirt road that can be traversed with a decent vehicle. I drove my 2 wheel drive D-Max in dry conditions and the most challenging part was the final incline literally a couple of hundred metres from the final destination. The panoramic views of the ocean , beaches and bush land are nothing short of breathtaking. The lookout has a table and seats for a picnic . Please use the bins or take your rubbish back home with you .Thoroughly recommended for an outing but be mindful to take plenty of bottled water and be prepared to lose phone reception at some parts of the drive & plan your trip accordingly with weather conditions.

Absolutely make the effort to come up here It's a pretty easy drive and most vehicles will get here. The scenery is amazing there's a great picnic table and chair ready for you, first in best dressed! Just bring everything you need for a very relaxing afternoon overlooking some stunning views

When visiting the Forster Tuncurry area this is a must visit point of interest attraction destination.A great alternative from all the usual water activities that the area is known for.The drive in can be quite a challenge for most 2wd cars due to the unsealed road but it is quite achievable by taking it easy.Google maps will try to navigate you through some locked national parks gates however you will quickly find the correct route up to the look out.Surrounding area will be a playground for 4wd enthusiasts seeking some firetrail adventures.Don't forget to pack some beers and snacks before you trek up there and always take your rubbish back away with you!

A great drive on unsealed tracks through tall forests there is a sheltered picnic spot on the way and a picnic table at the lookout, accessible by 2 wheel drive with care when dry. Spectacular lake and coastal views.
