Newstead Towers

I was a tennant here for about 3 years. Despite being almost in the city centre, we found it was relatively quiet and peaceful. The building is located perfectly. The building manager - Jason, property manager - Eva and housekeeper Mayet, were the best property staff members we ever dealt with. Always friendly, helpful and responded quickly to any queries. They are the reason why would consider renting there again once we return to Brisbane.

Building is ok, very small units.The property manager pressures tenants into renewing their lease 2 months before the tenancy is up. Then they threaten to bring in prospective tenants without further notice.This obviously breaks the 2 week RTA notice that a tenant is required to give prior to leaving any rental within Australia.It’s rather difficult to find a rental 2 months out from the end of lease, as there is nothing advertised at this early stage, as one can imagine.This seems to be a tactic implemented & a desperate ploy from the team at Aurora to force a tenant to just go on and sign another lease.Upon letting manager know that I will supply 2 weeks notice, they bullishly go ahead and put the property on the rental market anyway, and arrange viewings. The tenants are treated like sheep.This tactic from the Property manager is actually not in line with the RTA’s laws in Australia.However, Newstead Towers seem to not care much about that at all.Bullish tactics and fabricating stories to suit their own scenario.

I lived in Newstead Towers for 4 years. The facilities are excellent and of a high quality, the building is always kept neat and tidy, and the staff are friendly, wonderful communicators and always there for you. Newstead is such a vibrant, fun and convenient place to live. I loved how close I was to shops, restaurants, bars and cafes, as well as public transport. When I moved to Brisbane I had other rentals that I was considering, but after I saw the apartment and facilities at Newstead Towers I knew straight away that I was going to be happiest living here.

I lived at Newstead Towers for 4 years and it was a fantastic experience for me. The building and property managers were by far the most friendly, welcoming and professional of any place I have lived yet - Jason, Eva and the team are top notch. My apartment was spacious, comfortable and priced well for the area.The gym, pool, spa and bbq are great - well managed, clean and with a very good vibe. Plenty of visitor spaces in the carpark, and they even have motorbike spaces with locking shackles installed for piece of mind.Highly recommended.

Newstead Towers is a fantastic place to live. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained, the amenities are excellent and the building management are the most professional and well organised I've ever come across. Well done to Eva and the team.

Lived on level 8 of Newstead Towers for 3 years and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The location is great with easy access to the Gasworks and Woolworths as well as pubs and bars. The building amenities are kept in great condition and the staff on site are always happy to help out.The Facebook group for residents means it is quick and easy to get updates about what is happening in the building and you can also pick up the odd freebie from other residents giving away unwanted items.We have now moved on to another apartment complex, but stayed within a building managed by the same company since we had such a great experience at Newstead Towers.Building Manager Jason and Property Manager Eva have been so helpful throughout our time at Newstead and particularly so with our recent move, I honestly couldn't recommend it more.

Lived here as a tenant for over 3 years and always had great communication from the building manager and property managers. They are always friendly and receptive. The property itself is always clean and well maintained, gym and pool facilities are always very clean and nice to use. Was very sad to move away from the apartment but had to due to work commitments.

I moved into Newstead Towers when the building first opened in June 2016 and only just moved out in December 2022 after moving interstate.I absolutely loved living here. It’s central to everything you need. It’s safe, friendly and a great neighbourhood.The facilities are great (pool, spa, gym, bbqs). The on-site management team are fantastic. They are so friendly, always helpful and they communicate really well with owners and tenants. The property is maintained really well, everything is kept clean and any repairs are actioned really quickly.The units are a great size and well laid out. I would absolutely live there again if I returned to Brisbane.

Walked half an hour for an inspection today to get there and be told they “called everyone” because it was cancelled as it had already been leased. No call, no communication, otherwise I wouldn’t have travelled here. Sort it guys.

My partner and I rented in Newstead Towers for 2-3 years and we loved it! It’s so central to Woolworths, the river, dog parks and the city. We had a dog and they were super accommodating. Jason and Eva, the building/property managers are the most loveliest and down to earth people! We really miss living here, and highly recommend it!
