Tim & the team at FLR do an absolutely amazing job. 3 years ago we looked into our first one with the team and now we have a couple. The communicate you get direct from the team & trainers is exceptional.

I am in a syndicate with family members and I am a first time owner in the thoroughbred industry. Cant tell you as a first time owner how impressed i am with FLR re the amount of info we receive on our horse with video messages on the update of our horse. Was actually blown away the amount of info we were receiving about our horse. Did not think it would be anything like this but I was very much pleasantly surprised. To be able to have the opportunity to talk with Simon zahra in person and to be able to have the jockeys talk with you after each race i really enjoy. You actually feel a little special sometimes waxing lyrical with some of the best jockeys in Australia. To be able to meet all the other owners invested in the horse makes it an exciting venture on race day. Will definitely be going back for another share in another horse with FLR with our syndicate. If you were ever thinking about getting involved just do it, i have not had one regret with the experience we have had so far with FLR.

Buying a share in a racehorse through a syndicator is more than just a transaction with First Light Racing. They have great communications, events, race day experiences and great patience in dealing with questions and paperwork. I currently deal with 6 syndicators and I value First Light most highly for their professional and business like attitude in handling my shares. Also their commitment to racehorse after care rehoming, their personal touch and yes, dare I say great parties are terrific too. But at the end of the day we all want winners and First Light have a skilled team sourcing well priced horses that look are consistently in the winners circle. Well done First Light.

I am involved with two horses through First Light Racing. When owning a small share in a racehorse, you can often struggle to get information from the trainer. The regularity and quality of information that we as part-owners receive from the FLR staff (and often from the trainer directly) is first class; certainly streets ahead of anything I’ve had in previous racehorse ownership experiences. Getting group Zoom calls with the trainer on race day is really impressive. The first-time owners in my syndicate have been blown away with how good the service and communication is.

I would never purchase a horse through this place ever again! un professional Management.They make major decisions that should be voted on by the owners in regards to changing trainers.They have turned an exciting and fun experience into a nightmare, and refuse to take any responsibility for their actions.Look around as there are a lot more options if you want to enjoy the experience of owning a race horse.

Horse racing can be very “blokey” so one of the things I like about First Light is the number of women who work there, that’s a plus for me. First-rate communication, horse updates from the trainers, early morning gallop footage presented like a little film clip put to music are some of the things you get for your monthly fee and more stuff is being added to the weekly newsletter and website all the time.
