Awesome place in the middle of Tarra bulga national park. You will enjoy the peace of staying next to river in the midst of greenery and importantly no mobile network! We hired the cabins without shower, which were pretty descent. The hosts are friendly and caring for visitorsDon’t miss to talk to the pet bird

Great location for family camping. Quite streamside location amongst the rainforest. Beautiful drive in from either direction but better to come from the south if towing a van.Campground offers fire pits as well as shared BBQ 'sheds' which have big fireplaces and are quite protected. Toilet and shower block is clean and well maintained.

If you are looking to stay somewhere in the Tarra Valley you must go to Tarra Valley Retreat. We booked last minute and stayed in the Blue Wren cabin, it was so beautiful! The wood cabin amongst the tree filled park had a cosy feeling but the cabin was so spacious and exceptionally clean! It had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, they were clearly passionate about the property and took great pride in caring for it. The map they gave us upon arrival was so useful and helped us make the most of our time exploring. We are already planning our next trip back, such a great base for exploring the surrounding walks through Tarra Bulga.

an absolute gem of a caravan park. we stayed in one of the cabins, with bathroom and a kids bedroom for up to 6 children, a kitchen and dinning area and a porch. The park is very quiet, clean and safe for kids to roam, all nestled into a beautiful forest with lots of fern and a creek to discover. You can find an abundance of activities to fo around the area. The rustic flair and the offered facilities ( BBQ, fireplace, camp kitchen ) are definitely a huge asset. We had an absolute ball staying here and loved our evening BBQ by the big open fireplace, a great place to hang out. We loved it .

There are not enough superlatives to describe how stunning this area is! The park is beautifully maintained and had lots of privacy and excellent facilities. I was up on spot 37 which was beautifully private and close to the toilets. The spots by the river are amazing. Big drums for fires and for $20 you can get a generous amount of fire wood dropped off by the very helpful owner. I did stay a few nights and the park was at capacity over the long weekend but before that was very pleasant at 3/4 full.

The caravan park was great. We stayed close to the river and hearing the water was incredible. The owners were generous and kind. Great spot, will definitely be back!!

This park has beautiful surroundings and our group had a great few days spending time with each other. But, there were a couple of things that surprised me and were disappointing. As I understand it, the management/ownership has changed hands very recently and I think this may be the reason for the disparity in my review compared to earlier reviews. I was shocked to find the bathrooms were not cleaned daily. We arrived on a Tuesday and the bathrooms I believe were cleaned that day and then not again until Friday. They were a mess and in absolute need of attention with bins overflowing and benches covered in dust and leaf matter. As I understand it one of the male toilets became unusable in this time too. I've always seen bathroom facilities being cleaned at least once a day at other parks and in some instances more than once a day. So this was very unusual, especially for me.The other surprising thing was how little the office was manned. I witnessed many envelopes pinned to the door for new arrivals instead of being personally checked in. The unattended office also made it hard to predict when you could access and purchase firewood. These things didn't ruin our stay because our group had a great time together, but it will mean I won't be returning to the park again.

Absolutely beautifully situated, very quiet site and my cabin and the bathrooms were immaculately clean. I very much appreciated the effort to correct a booking (my mistake) and hope to visit again soon.

We stayed elsewhere but came for Devonshire tea and scones twice! They were scrumptious! Scones were really soft and the tea was brewed in a pot. Really picturesque spot and worth the visit.
