Shallow Inlet Caravan Park
I booked my cabin a month in advance and waited a week to receive my comfriming email from management I skimmed over it and was made aware I needed to bring my own bedding and towels and thought all was good until three days before my booking when I received a cancellation email because I hadn't made a 48 hour deposit on my cabin when I received my confirmation email,I rang the caravan park and spoke to a manger about my booking and was very apologetic about not knowing about the deposit and made my deposit then but I was also met with frustration from the manager I didn’t say anything at the time but I saw this as poor management as i didnt get a call or email saying my deposit hadn't been paid but proceeded with my stay two days later and when I got there was met with a kind lady who showed me a map of the caravan park and made me feel welcome. It was a little run down but suitable for my two night stay for me and partner to celebrate our 7 year anniversary I was given a key to a cabin and a male and female key card for toilets/showers as I had gone for a standard cabin. We had no reception so we were unware we had to travel half a dirt road to get there but it wasn't a worry as we had a good car, the beach you can access from the caravan park practically is a shallow Inlet so I wouldn't swim in it personally but really nice place to watch the sunset very windy though and a good beach to go crab hunting,A short drive from shops, petrol, a pizza shop and Wilson prom isn't far about an hour drive.

Peaceful place but a bit run down. Bins were constantly over flowing and junk everywhere.Just needs some good TLC to get it up to scratch.

Such a friendly lil caravan park. I had a non powered site and I think it's the only site that has water views. Dog loved the beach which was a 2 minute walk out of the park. The lady that runs it was super helpful and her big brown lab strolls around the park saying hi to everyone.

absolutely amazing! beautiful scenery, amazing staff, although weather was bad it didn’t make my stay bad. the common area (rotunda i think they call it) was full of people with amazing energy, what seemed like a family having an amazing time with lots of fun games.

Great location, quite close to Wilsons Prom. The owners are great, friendly and helpful and fantastic communicators via email, phone and text. The park itself has so much potential but needs so much work. Many of the on-site vans are run down and need to be cleaned up. People set up fire drums and tables and chairs in the middle of the thoroughfare at night, making it impassable should emergency services have needed to get in or out.The camp kitchen was dirty. Glad I didn't need to use it.We really liked the park and will come again. Crack the whip, get van owners to do their bit too and the place will get the reviews it deserves.

A great location with very accommodating and friendly hosts. The camping area is lovely with lots of trees and birds. We had a wonderful time, but feel if the weather was more inclement then the limitations of the facilities would have been more noticeable. There is a tennis court (rackets & balls available to borrow) and a small swing and slide set. There is a gas stove, microwave, fridge freezer, blender in the camp kitchen. No permanent BBQ. 2 Toilets in the camp area.Main facility block is located in the permanent vans section near reception a short distance from the camp area.Ice & bait and a few essentials available at reception (Bait is bagged on purchase, the minimum is 500g no mix/match we found this high as we were not there solely for fishing and didn't have a freezer) unfortunately we ended up giving away most of this as only able to use 1hr of fishing with small children.

we had a great Easter weekend away at this lovely caravan park! friendly owners overall lovely people and lovely stay! To the person who said the amenities weren’t cleaned I think you needed to take another look as I walked in while they were being cleaned but also walked in to the most disgusting site left behind for them to clean, how do people do this??!! I’m pretty sure the owners family were down for their games night it looked like fun!!
