Wynyard Indoor Market Tasmania

I have been to save a buck only a few times since the new management but i must admit that this guy is completely rude and ignorant. The way ive heard him speak to other customers is appalling. Not to mention the way he spoke to me infront of my young children. I dont know how he expects the store to work in the future if he doesnt work on his customer skills. I loved going here with my parents as a kid bt ill never take my children in there again.

Last time we visited here it was a shop, but now it's a market place with alot of different people selling their wares. Still worth the visit, you never know what you might find, that you have to have. Everyone was friendly. Will go back every time we are in area.

Ripped off. Was scammed out of my items when selling them and experienced another customer (elderly lady) get ripped off out of a brand new flat screen tv and laptop! Other customers were refused service and also had their ID card thrown to the table rudely when one of my items I sold had the wrong" part. They had nothing to do with the situation which made this business look unprofessional and very inexperienced in showing respect for customers. Very dissapointed With my experience here and will not be returning."

It is with deep regret that I write this review. I have discussed the issue with the owner of Wynyard Indoor Market and as he refuses to address the issue, I feel that I have no other choice but to go public.We will never again set foot in Wynyard Indoor Market nor take our friends and family to that location because of major health and safety issues at the Wynyard Indoor Market. Last weekend one of the stall holders committed a physical assault on the premises which was captured on cctv cameras as well as being witnessed by several onlookers. The unprovoked attack resulted in serious injury (fractured ribs) followed by verbal abuse.The perpetrator is still at that location, still a stallholder and this is the second time he has exhibited this behaviour.Police were called but no charges were laid at the request of the victim. So, I was told by the owner that the stall holder who perpetrated the attacks is deeply sorry and has apologised…..so that is the end of the matter. The owners words ‘he had a brain fart’………very classy, very professional…..not.I personally do not feel safe in that venue as a customer let alone a stallholder. What happens when he does this the next time? According to the manager and owner this type of behaviour is not acceptable or tolerated, in fact, stallholders sign a contract to that effect.So obviously the contract is not worth the paper it is written on.

How fabulous to be part of such a positive community at this market. Such a variety of stalls,sure to have something that appeals to all ages and tastes. Great to see the original owners back utilising the building for such an exciting venture for the locals and tourists alike. Both my husband, Darren and I are extremely happy to be stallholders within this growing market. We have every confidence in management achieving a highly successful market.

Too much stuff crammed into a small shop. The prices were quite expensive for a secondhand shop with some items cheaper to buy new. The workers were not willing to come down on the prices and kept saying they have only just gotten the item in even though it was there 6 months ago when we had a look last.

Such a wonderful market!Something for everyone and has friendly customer service, which is hard to find in many businesses these days. ☺

Lovely Stall holders, great range of products always love going ❤️

Was turned down service when i previously sold them a bow and said the strings didnt fit the bow when it was still in the same rapper as when brought...Got black listed based on his skill set to put a bow together... left without a word after my photo I.D. was tost at me.I still have a loan with them and ill be going in with the money for it and hope to get my item back
