Domescapes Glamping in the Vines

Visited in January for a solo holiday and it was the best time! Couldn't recommend highly enough. Hands down one of the best parts of my brief little holiday. The hosts were so personable and looked after you so well. And the wine was amazing! As was my cute little dome was perfectly perfect

Amazing place. Beautiful views. Private and well thought out.Have rebooked already and haven't checked out. We stayed in Amarone (one of two that have outside baths, the first dome does not have an outside bath).

We had the best stay at Domescapes for our honeymoon! The dome is so well thought out, comfortable and absolutely beautiful. The views are second to none and the outdoor bath & fireplace were a treat. The Swinging Gate winery is a short walk from each dome, where you can taste some of Tassie's most delicious wine & meet the lovely owner, Doug, his daughter, Hannah & their sweet dog Nellie. If you’re looking for a picturesqe, tranquil spot to unwind & enjoy your wine, this is it!

Doug’s passion for wine making was a true inspiration. Swinging Gate is truly a magical journey. Congratulations on what you and your family have achieved. The Domes were amazing, waking up looking over the vines was breathtaking.

This place is so special and an absolute must on any trip to Tasmania! I have been meaning to write a review about our stay last July but never got around to doing so, safe to say 10 months later i am still thinking about the amazing night we spent here and wish we were able to stay longer! My partner and i travelled from Sydney to Hobart and ended up changing our flight to fly out of Launceston when Domescapes had a last minute cancellation. I knew it would be amazing and it exceeded my expectations. The owners of the vineyard are so lovely and passionate about the wine they produce, the dome was so cozy, comfortable and stylish. The outdoor bath was amazing, as was the cheese platter we ordered. This is such a special place and i cant wait to go back one day.

This was our first time doing glamping and it was amazing to say the least! The dome is so pretty and the surrounding is stunning and peaceful. We were blessed with a really weather so everything looks magical. The dome interior is well-designed and properly equipped. We set up a camp fire and roasted mashmallows under the stars - my husband usually doesn't care for such things but I know even he had a fantastic time. Not to forget with the booking, you get a complimentary tasting at the owner's cellar door, a bottle of wine and a breakfast voucher at a cute cafe off-site (5 minutes' drive away). So glad we got to do this and will definitely recommend people visiting Tassie to do so!

Absolutely loved our stay. I booked our entire trip around what date I could book in. It lived up to my expectations and more. Enjoyed our breakfast the next morning too. Love love love. We will be back!

Great experience. Well appointed dome tents with a firepit and outdoor bath. Nice romantic getaway. The wine tasting up at the cellar door is also fantastic.

We had a wonderful stay for 2 nights. Domes were cozy, warm and well appointed. The staff were really friendly and the property was beautiful.My only negative is that on the last night there were people with a camper and it seemed like it was two couples as they were in and out of the camper and this slightly hindered on our privacy.
