Clean tidy. Layout is a bit awkward but only because the checkout is in a far corner. Everything on offer looks good, everything I've tried has been good. I don't come here as often as I used to, don't work in the area now.

Ok place to pick up a loaf of bread but the Pies......ugghhh absolutely terrible is an understatement. Dog food wrapped in pastry. Never again.

The pies have a 2inch thick pastry around them, the stuff in the bain-marie is foul always tastes really dry, and the wraps are like rubber. Took back something and got told the buns for the bacon and egg burgers are made fresh every day, if that’s the case why does it taste like old bread on the verge of going mouldy, I can understand dry but to taste old is a bit wrong coming from a “hot bread shop.” Step your game up.

The pies were nice - just the right temperature and the shortcrust pastry on base was perfect. They even have a choice of tomato and barbeque sauce. The vanilla slice was delicious. The pastry crunchy but not too hard and lashing of custard and thick icing on top. The lady behind the counter was friendly.

I bought a steak and mushroom pie and 2 cinnamon buns. The was terrible, pastry had sugar in it and filling was tasteless and very dark gravy. The cinnamon bun was under cooked. I wouldn't go there again very disappointed.

Cant believe this place can have 4 stars i bought 6 party pies and 2 cream donuts $28 total rippoff just so i wasnt out of touch with pricing i went to another bakery in safety bay 1 lge sausage roll 1 regular pizza for 2 and 2 fruit scones grand total $14 better quality and more for your dollarTry seagulls bakery when your up that way
