Was shopping for my boss - and was served by the loveliest , most patient woman - Maria. She was so helpful and her customer service was exceptional. Cannot thank her enough!

Not very impressed with the quality neither the way the staff try to upsell.Husband bought me a white gold necklace with diamond pendant for ~$600 here last year. It broke so I got it fixed.We first asked Michael Hill at Bankstown before how much it costs to fix the broken necklace and they told me $50, but because we didn’t bring the necklace with us that day, we didn’t get it fixed at Bankstown. Then we brought it to the same store that we bought it from, which is Wetherill Park and they told me fixing cost is $69 or something. I told them the price difference between different stores and wondered why. The manager and the staff quietly discussed and agreed to fix it for at the cost of $50. So I got it fixed.It was all great until 3 or 4 days after I got it fixed, it broke again right where it was before although there was no force that I made to it. I brought it back and they tried to convince me that the necklace is very fine itself and brokes easily.They said they’re happy to fix it again for me but it will happen again right where it was broken. They tried to sell to me another necklace and said the necklace that they tried to sell to my husband before was NOT GOOD and they never recommend it to their customers.WOW! They brought their own products down just to get me to buy another one. Mine one was at least $300 and they tried to sell me a $150 by saying mine was fine and NOT GOOD and want me to believe that the $150 one is better?In the end of courses I didn’t buy another one and insisted on getting mine one fixed. And so far although I’ve accidentally did some force on it, it’s doing just great! And it makes me believe that they didn’t really bother to fix my necklace properly so it breaks again in a blink without any force.Just saying all this not because I want an apologise just want to warn people out there that don’t trust what they say, they generally just try to make you buy as much as they can. And we definitely won’t come back although my husband has been buying a lot of jewelleries for me from Michael Hill.

Nice items, pretty bad staff.Had to exchange something, and they didn't want to do it. Asked for the manager. The manager spoke over me, not letting me try to explain why we needed to return or exchange. They were not earrings, so I could not understand what the fuss was about. The items were intact and never used. Had the receipt, we did get a refund at the end but so not worth the drama and rudeness.

This wonderful lady assisted me in purchasing a necklace as a Christmas gift and she was not only super super helpful, she was very professional and polite. There have been jewellery places where I’ve been to and the staff would pick and choose who to help. Highly recommend this Michael Hill.

Bought a pair of earrings for my fiancé for Christmas, the backing of them broke after being worn once, I returned them and was given a new pair, the same thing happened. Today marks the fourth time I’ve returned them broken after being put in once. I decided to get my money back this time as the product is obviously a poor quality and I wanted to take my business elsewhere. However the customer service I received today was appalling and rude. I was originally told by a staff member that a refund wouldn’t be a problem I just had to come back in 2 hours to see a manager, which I did. The women I then dealt with on my return refused to refund my money, even though I had the receipt and all parts of the earrings clearly showing the product to be faulty, she said the reason was it being over 30 days and I unfortunately wasn’t issued new and more up to date receipts each time I originally returned them. It reached a point where the staff member put her hand in my face to cut me off and dismiss me and my concerns. According to the ACCC I am entitled to a refund if the repair or replacement product is unsatisfactory and yet I was treated disgracefully and given yet another pair for the 5th time and left to gift the same pair to my fiancé leaving her lying in wait for them to fall apart once again. I implore all potential customers in the future to save themselves the trouble and avoid this business.

Michael Hill has a range of products which are suitable for all stages of life.I have purchased my promise ring, engagement ring and wedding ring from Michael Hills. The range of products are great gifts for myself and my wife, happy to shop at any of their stores.

If I could give a lower star rating I would. Where to begin my husband to be bought my engagement ring from the Liverpool store we moved back home and started going to Wetherill Park for cleans etc. I went to MacArthur to buy my wedding bands as they were the only store to have the wedders in store and in stock when I had purchased these I was 17 kilos heavier did not expect to do as well as I did in this department but did. When it came time to go and get my rings re-sized (something MacArthur had mentioned would not be an issue) I was told by both ladies in store that there was NOTHING they could do except resize the ring and void my warranty that my fiancé spent 500 per ring to get on all three. They mentioned if this is something MacArthur agreed to do to go to them instead of helping me and trying to find out information to sort it out for me.I’ll also throw in that in December myself and my two siblings one 18 and the other 16 that both work hard and don’t get paid much put together 300 to get our mother what she has been wanting for the longest time and that was to get her rings dipped in rhodium mum being so excited left her rings with them in jan and got them back at the end of January in March not even 2 months later these were already fading and my poor mother went in and was flat out told no no no nothing that can be done.These people do not want to help I am disgusted with how much my fiancé has spent with Michael hill thankfully having the amazing staff at MacArthur that have called me every step of the way to give me updates on all three of my rings if not for this store I would NEVER SHOP AT michael hill again.Should re hire in that store will never shop there again.

There should be an option for -5 stars. Husband and I brought in engagement and 2 wedding bands for resizing. Had major issue with Store Manager Jessica. She was very condescending, patronising and talked down at us. At no point did we raise our voices or become abusive towards her. When we called her out on the inappropriate tone she was talking at us with she started talking over us while pointing at me and slammed the Care Plan on the glass counter and told us to read it" as if we couldn't read and stormed off. We have put a complaint with the Regional Manager Michael

Very bad customer service. One of the staff was very rude. I made a phone call to see when is my order that I purchased two weeks ago is gonna be delivered to the store so I can pick-up and the staff started YELLING that she does not know what I am talking about ... I told her if she wants to know what I am talking about she should start with my name and check the system.. like I was meant to tell her how to do her job
