Childers Budget Accommodation

WARNING! NOT PET FRIENDLY like it was listed for. Our dogs were in their kennel on the street and not going to be in the property, but they kicked us out because our dogs are parked on the street in our trailer. We have well trained dogs and do not bark so, yeah, don’t advertise you are pet friendly if you arent. The owner has a stinking atittude. Very rude.

Needed an overnight stay to get out of the car. Needed 2 rooms for us & both were very clean, tidy & had all that we needed. No pool but it was too cool anyway. Everything else perfect for the price.

Was lucky enough to get a room furthest away from the road, even then there was some road noise as with most accommodation in Childers.The room was clean and tidy and quite spacious. Included in the room was a kettle, microwave, toaster as well as crockery and quite a decent size fridge and all in fairly new good clean condition. The bed and matress was OK I think it had recently been replaced, would not have purchased one like it for our home but OK for the one night.The bathroom is also a decent size but needs updated / showing signs of ageing. The two main things, bathroom louvres were siezed/locked in place - open, bit strange when air-conditioner on. If you are any taller than 1.4mts you will need to crouch or bend down to get your head under the shower....Value for money overall yes.

Very clean, budget but excellent place to stay.

One of the cleanest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in and very spacious. Bed super comfy and fluffiest towels ever! Would definitely stay here again

Bathroom door doesn't close properly, everything else is good

Had a wonderful experience. Competitive pricing. Plenty of amenities including kettle, toaster and microwave. Air conditioned room with TV and WIFI available.Convenient location to travel to Woodgate and Bundaberg and even head to Hervey Bay and Maryborough if neededDownside - hollow walls. Had next door families either side check in at 10 pm; very inconsiderate slamming front door every time they entered in or out of their room in an hour. So yes the sound echoed and all conversations heard.So for the price it’s fair for people in a budget and adequate patience if not you’ll be unhappy with expectations. Moral of the story you get what you pay for

My partner, my son and myself stayed here on the 25/11/22.Such a nice little motel. Clean on the inside with a variety of little beverages (coffee, tea, milk). Lovely aircon with a renovated bathroom. The key was easily accessible and we were able to get into our room with no issues.They don't allow smoking in the rooms which I appreciate. Keeps the place clean.Also it was greatly appreciated they were able to get us in at such short notice.Definitely recommend this place and definitely would be coming back for a short day if I am ever this way again.

Thank you! Found this place last minute when none of the Rockhampton motels had late check in. Conveniently located on the Bruce Highway, but even so our room was quiet. Great facilities, everything we could need and more. Thank you for the good night's sleep :)
