TD Automotive services | TD Automotive Services has a busy time ahead - due to our inceasing work load and customer demand we are moving. Over the next few weeks we will be relocating to 72 Barry Road New Gisborne - a much larger workshop, with improved access and the same great service!

I was sick and tired of being ripped off by the mechanics in the main street of Gisborne and thought I'd try something new. Me and my partner both went to TD and will honestly never go anywhere else. Not only did I get a good service (with no unnecessary extras" tacked on) and a cleaner car

Dropped car in at 8.30am for RWC, the lady at reception was very pleasant, communicated well and was clear and precise, did what they said they would do and rang me at 3pm for pick up. Was introduced to Joe the owner who gave me a guided tour of the workshop and the services they provide and is obviously passionate about what he does. Employs apprentices and supports the local community, well done guys, great service! Would highly recommend.

I have been taking my cars to TD Automotive for over 10 years now, and never a complaint.Excellent service every time, and always the right advice.The team led by Joe are very professional and their knowledge of all types of cars is amazing. Nothing ever to much trouble and if you are stuck they will do the best to get you moving.

Great customer service, very polite and excellent communication! Needed to have a Road Worthy Check completed, dropped my car off at 9:30am and was ready to be collected at 3:00pm the same day and to top it off, it was very reasonably priced. Can definitely highly recommend!

10/ 10 for service, reliability and constancy.The one time I take my car to another mechanic these hard working men and women found and fixed the faults made by another company.They booked me in, did the work and now here I am with a car that has never worked better or been more fuel efficient! (one of the faults was a missed timed timing belt, now that is sorted i get better Km's)Thank you for your patience, and fantastic work!

My experience here was poor, a simple roadworthy was difficult for them to manage from a timing perspective. I needed the roadworthy done early in the day and communicated to them if there was any issues with passing I needed to know ASAP so remedies could be performed. Unfortunately I had to call them to get updates late into the day which resulted in running out of time to rectify vehicle ready for a pass. Never again.

Bought a master cylinder off this crew via ebay which failed resulting in no brakes. Sent it back at my cost and they then allege I tampered with it so no refund or even testing. What rubbush. Why would I even touch it before sending it back? Clearly a scam to get out of a 316 dollar refund. Avoid them at all costs!
