Saw a great band, quirky venue with plenty of uncomfortable seating. Friendly staff. Great drinks. Female toilets bad - just 1 toilet cubicle with no lock on the door. The toilet situation was really irritating when you have a whole bunch of people in one place, drinking alcohol, going to the toilet all the time and no blimmin lock on the 1 toilet door!

What a gidden gem! Had a surprisingly nice night there, great local talent. Love the lived in 70s living room feel with the comfy couches, cushions, lava lamp and library/artwork and kitschy dolls. I enjoyed the pineapple lumps at the bar, that was a fun addition. Good drinks, not too pricey.The only improvement I would suggest, is that you'd add to the ambience by burning some incense to mask the guys B.O. smell, it smelt really bad like a few dozen teenage boys had spent all weekend there not showering. Or, just request that people step up their personal hygiene.

The best music venue I know. JR is an absolute legend with sound. Lucy is the best hostess and dressup officianado in the land. My second home. Great vibes, great sound, grear music, comfy couches and interesting people. Never a dull night. I love this place.

Best venue in Napier for live music, chill as with couches to complete the chill vibe. Decent bar that's well stocked.
