Glenroy Cottages & Campground

Stopped by with my daughter. It was absolutely beautiful. Lovely cows, and some fishing, and a little bush walk… gorgeous place. Will return.

Arrived to see friends for a few hours who were camping for the weekend. An ok spot but quite noisy due to the proximity from the road. There are showers with a very blunt message that says showers to be limited to 2mins (totally acceptable) but real campers don't shower!!! The lady who runs this camp site is sooo rude!!! Made to feel like a thief due to paying $10 to see our friends for a few hours when she demanded I pay $20 as I had been there more than 2hrs, seriously I used the bathroom once, brought my own food and water and took all my rubbish home. I have absolutely no problem with paying but I could of stayed the whole night for a couple $$ more and the woman has no idea how to talk to people! Seriously would NEVER return and strongly advise any one else to find somewhere else!

We had a lovely experience at the Glenroy Cottages, we stayed in the 2 bedroom Cabin and was very well equipped with oven, stove, microwave and even electric blankets! It needed some deep cleaning (spider webs and dust) but otherwise the views are beautiful and the location is very peaceful. The river and surroundings are gorgeous and clean . The reviews about the host Rosemary are not correct, she was nice, accommodating and friendly. If you follow the rules you will not have any issues. She was always ready to assist and answering our texts. Payments are done by bank transfer only. Thank you Rosemary for a lovely weekend.

Stayed 2 nights over Easter camping, a little unsure what we needed to do when we arrived at the gate, but simply found a spot and dropped our envelope with our money, and car details etc in the honesty box at the gate.Rosemary the host was lovely.Beautiful little spot.

Extremely disappointed with our choice of place to stay for camping, $20 per person for not being even able to use shower , landlord is an old rude lady who’s mentally unstable, do not recommend this place for camping specifically if you have a kids or lady who need access to clean shower and bathroom facilities, please check reviews before heading there

Rosemary is a mentally challenging woman who yell at her guest. Who the he'll think she is just yelling at the guest who . She can't approach the group n ask for the person in charge n talk to the person. She yells n order like she is first nation. She don't want people to speak in other languages in the public toilet apart from English. Who the hell she think she is when English belongs to England. She is mental and only after the money

Lovely campsite at Coxs River. It's selfcontained. Showers are cold. There are lots of cows and calves that are curious about the guests. And Rosemary, the owner, was very friendly to us. She runs a business on her own. Nice, how she does. Reading the other reviews about the behaviour of Rosemary l can only say: l don't recognize her in those words. Just follow the rules and clean up butts and bottlecaps. It's mess too, you know.

Amazing campsite, beautiful host! Such amazing views in the mornings and can’t express how lovely the owners were! Definitely coming back!!

It's a pretty place with plenty of water holes to cool down in on a hot day. But if you are staying the night, you better be a heavy sleeper as there are trucks slowing and accelerating all night long.

Drove through the gates on Easter Sunday without a prior booking. Wanted to see if we could camp for the night with our 3 young kids. This lovely lady who was very friendly allowed us to set up camp near her house by the river. She told us we help ourselves to the branches by the river to help get our fire started. It was our first time camping and we are very thankful for being allowed to stay there.We drove 4hrs from Sydney to a different place booked in Oberon where we found the entire campsite was actually a farm where we couldn’t take 1 step without stepping in huge piles of poop. We obviously couldn’t camp there so we decided to start the 4hr drive back home when we stumbled across Glenroy cottages. Thank you so much for saving the day! My kids would have been so sad to drive all the way back home without a camping experience. The place was stunning and we can’t wait to come back
