I have been there twice. Everytime I went there it was so pleasant and I come out with a smile. Sunnil (sorry if I got your name incorrectly) is a very kind and patient person. 8am meeting, but I saw him in the office 10 mins earlier and he welcomed me. I am impressed with resmed company service too, I had to get my machine fixed which will take 3weeks, Sunnil handed one machine over to me to use while waiting. I am so happy with that. Thank you Sunnil and Resmed!

My journey started with my GP referring me to Resmed. I contacted Surry Hills, and booked a time to pick up the wiring to do a sleep study at home. I was booked in for 2 30pm, and I arrived at 2pm, asked if I could be seen earlier, and they informed me that the wiring hadn't been returned from the previous customer (it's due back 9 30 AM), so this was many hours after. I'm disabled, and I care for someone who is also disabled, so being asked to 'do some shopping', or to go somewhere else, then come back in 'a couple of hours' really didn't cut it. The next day, at 9 28AM, I was 2 streets away from the office, bringin back my wiring, when I got a phone call urgently asking where I was. Again, not great, given i'd been stuffed around the day before. Upon returning my wiring, I received a call a couple of days later, stating that my report was ready- and did I want to come in and look at machines. I stated I can't just drop $1k on a machine the same day, and even before i'd discussed with a DR to see what is right, and the response was 'We also have payment plans'. I asked the report be emailed through to me, then I didn't contact them back, due to all of the abovementioned experiences. I have since gone to a competitor, who actually listened to my circumstances, and with whom i've rented a machine short term from, and bought appliance parts from. I will be receiving a subsidised machine- unfortunately I think it comes from Resmed, BUT- I can get all my servicing and part replacements from the competition.

I can't believe that Resmed allows the staff at this store to be ambassadors for their brand. My first impression of the two women that served me can be summed up as poorly presented, poorly trained and unprofessional. I went in for a pre-booked appointment to collect a trial CPAP machine. The service was not at all conducive to putting one at ease during a potentially life-changing healthcare experience, For example, I was not invited to sit down while my mask was fitted. Instead the fitter stood on tip toes and kept awkwardly jumping to reach my face.But the worst was still to come. I was given a faulty device that deprived me of sleep for two consecutive nights and almost made me give up the trial. Even though I phoned the store manager for support, he did not listen to what I said and merely assumed it was a mask-fitting issue.Although he was polite, and eventually happily exchanged the machine, I believe it is incumbent on him to ensure every device that leaves his store is in perfect working order.I am optimistic that I will have a much better experience now that I have a device that appears to be in working order.But there's more. RESMED stores offer significantly worse pricing than general suppliers. If I did it again I would certainly go elsewhere.

I just had a great pleasure of meeting Adam Anderson from Resmed Surry hills. He explained everything to me, answered all my questions and gave me a great deal, what else can I ask for as a customer. Good on you Adam, keep up with the good work. Looking forward to come back for parts, service and shaking your hand.

Excellent service provided by Sunil and Jonathan. They provided a trial machine for a very reasonable rate then helped tweak the settings over several weeks till it worked perfectly, then I proceeded to purchase the machine. I am very grateful for the service and professionalism of this team.
