I got the fried chicken with hot sauce, chicken pieces were very small, dry and heavily battered, maybe more batter than chicken. Not at all what I was hoping for. However the hot sauce was seriously hot, which I appreciated. I would try this place again, might have got them on an off day.

How sad to get the worst Japchae I have ever been served. On every occasion in West Ryde Chicken V I had nothing but good experiences. The Japchae with half? Rice? For $15 and literally no flavour. The chicken good as ever but if this is how they do Japchae, leave it off the menu and don't order it here. Stick to their yummy chicken. 2 two stars is merciful for the tragedy of Japchae.... please do better!

I love this restaurant. The fried chicken is delicious, juicy and so crunchy every time and their spicy rice cakes are divine. Staff are always so friendly and helpful and very quick! Highly recommend.

Can't go wrong with any of their fried chicken. Their spicy rice cake soup with cheese is highly recommended. If looking for soup their beef gamjatang is really good. Loved their selection of Korean food. Even the owner and the staff are all amicable. My only complaint is that they close early.

Came here on a busy lunch and greeted by the nice lady working the front counter. Ordered fried chicken (original only), an udon soup and a spicy pork rice cup. Given it's location I admittedly wasn't expecting too much but 1) the chicken is pretty damn delicious and well cooked, juicy and crispy without being greasy, 2) the spicy pork rice had a nice side salad and good balance of flavour and finally 3) the udon was cooked reeeeally well, typically I find these overly salty and the noodles overcooked. I don't know if my hunger influenced my experience but I was really pleasantly surprised and enjoyed this meal. Can confirm I'll be back

We got the 9 sampler, chicken was tasty enough, very pricey. Also got the Spicy beef soup - tasty buy pricey.Prices are different to what's on the menus, prices are higher.Friendly service, clean seating area.

The owner/manager,he is so very nice,and the food is tasty.Better than KFC I find their chicken bowls.Rice is always on point and the serving is a great size.
