We had a really pleasant catered get together after a funeral. The afternoon tea was a delightful and tasty selection of sweet and savoury items. The cafe is a great place for family and friends to reminisce over the loss of a loved one.

Wouldn't recommend for a wake, biscuits with coffee and tea were ok but not for the price you pay. Much better places to go to in Sutherland area. Had to buy food from the actual cafe because children where hungry, chips were nice but over priced for such a small portion. Needs to have a menu with size and prices displayed so you know what you get.

Thank you so much for the wake that was put on for my Mother on 9th May 2023. Kerry who was in charge, was worth her weight in gold and was very friendly and helpful. She certainly did make a sad occasion alot easier to deal with at the time. Food was good, and everything went smoothly.

The Celeste Cafe is well suited for wakes due to its location and the generous size of the rear rooms. The quality of the food and drink is also good. We like to visit for coffee, albeit there is only one table inside the cafe part.

Convenient, supportive, bright venue with flexible options .. I was able to add candles , photos , flowers and access to wifi for viewing photo collage and music etc .. food was of quality, however $$$ .. would have been great to have casual access to alcohol for those who wanted it without paying for a whole package.. the Staff were helpful allowing for lateness and extra people .. xO

My brother and I went into the cafe recently and spoke to a very stoney-faced lady called Brenda.Our mother has just passed the day before. There was no warmth or any condolence remarks expressed by Brenda. Her manner was rather abrupt when we asked to look at the wake rooms. We had a quick look at the wake rooms and Brenda told us in a very rushed and really not interested manner briefly about the booking procedure.My brother and I said we definitely do not want to celebrate our mother's wake at this place.After discussing the experience with a friend whose mother also had a burial at Woronora recently told us that she had an identical experience with Brenda and also had decided on a different venue because of this.Well Celeste cafe you may want to advise your staff that customer service and being friendly is extremely essential especially with grieving families or you may continually lose alot of business.

What can I say, chefs totally ignored the menu changes. Disappointed, and yes expensive, Coffee cold. Thank goodness the wine was nice.
