Dentist Bundoora - Bundoora Family Dental Clinic

Dr John is fantastic. I’ve seen him 3 times total and each time has been a great experience. He did a repair filling for me 24 hours ago and all pain and sensitivity has completely gone. My teeth feel perfect. Such a Great dentist and I highly recommend seeing Dr John.

Terrible do not use. My daughter had a bridge made there just over 1 year ago. When it was first made 3 different dentists worked on it as they all quit thier jobs and left. When it was finally done it did not look right. When I asked about it I was told it was fine" It has now broken off her tooth only 1 year later. When I enquired about getting this looked at I was told that I would have to pay for a consult. How is this my responsibility. Those Bridges should last at least 5 years without a problem. I requested to speak to the practice manager and was told.i was not allowed to. Rude staff only out for your money. No patient care whatsoever."

This dentist is the only dentist I have felt absolutely comfortable going to! From the reception to the amazing dentists they make you feel so at ease! I’ve now had 2 tooth extractions here and both have gone extremely well. I’ve recommended the Bundoora family dental to all my friends and family and this is now my regular dentist.

I highly recommend Bundoora Family Dental Clinic's staff and their dentists. Because I had a severe headache for many years and I went to many specialists but they could not find the cause even after doing MRI.Luckily I went to Bundoora Family Dental Clinic and saw Dr.John Herrington who helped me to overcome my headache issue which was lasted for many years. I saw almost 10 other dentists in Melbourne but they could not find the root cause.Dr.John's over 40+ years experience in Dentistry assisted me to overcome my headache forever. He found the issue of my root canal which was done over 15 years ago elsewhere. Well done John, you are a genius and a super dentist!.

Had a damaged tooth reshaped here.It was not done correctly to match exact shape it should've been (or even close)I saw a dentist there on a follow up, and when I brought this up; asking about it being redone correctly for a discount they said they would have to speak to management. After making several calls to them following up on this in following weeks and hearing nothing, I visited, where the dentist again avoided me and had reception pass on that they would not be willing to re-do the job properly for a discount.I asked to have the manager contact me regarding this, I've since called to ask again and months have passed. Manager/dentist are deliberately ignoring me.Avoid this clinic. They don't care for customer service or doing a good job.

Great staff very experienced John and Val work well together and are a great team highly recommend.

Stay away - Only out for your money.Second visit to this clinic. First time was about 2 years ago and saw a female dentist who was just lovely, but she has since left.Second visit was in February. I booked a checkup and clean and saw Dr John Herrington. Despite having healthy teeth and gums he took 2 X-rays (approx $100)and gave me a fluoride treatment (approx $50) without my asking my permission to proceed. Considering I wasn’t asked if I would like these treatments, I assumed it was now part of the checkup and clean and included in the price. However that was not the case, I was charged the extra on the bill. I was totally shocked and just stupidly paid the bill rather then complain there and then.I called and complained the following day and asked for a refund which they agreed to, however its been 4 weeks and still no refund. I have followed up many times with no reply. Their Customer service is just shocking, they obviously don’t know how to handle customers. I finally got a response from the dentist himself who actually called me just last week to argue who is right and wrong which I found so unprofessional and strange. I don’t know what he wanted out of that call. He also took personal swipes at me and was basically accusing me of making it up! Even though he admitted that he always takes X-rays as part of his consultation. I am totally shocked at their unprofessionalism and the response from this dentist. He did end the call by agreeing to refund me, but I am yet to see the money.I’ll be taking this matter further as it’s wrong that they scam money out of patients like this and I’m sure it’s not the first time.Stay away front this dentist.

I have seen all the Dentists at Bundoora Family and have been nothing but impressed every time! All are very caring and explain what they are doing to ensure that I feel comfortable. I have converted my husband too since seeing them!
