Ringers Rest RV Park
What a fantastic place to stay. Had 9 nights here. Used it as a base to travel around and explore. Safe to leave the van. We always only use our own toilet so we parked down the back where we talked to the cows and horses and what a highlight to be woken up by hot air baloons right over us. Fantastic sight. I thoroughly recommend Ringers Rest. Plenty of open space and beautiful views. To Dave and hosts we will certainly be back again.

Amazing place to stop for a night or for a week!The kids are loving running around and patting the cows! The sunsets are stunning and we are hoping to wake up and catch the hot air balloons rising!

Dave has a fantastic, dog friendly set-up here on the outskirts of Mareeba. A great character who will go out of his way to make sure you are comfortable and happy. From friendly cows to evening campfires, Dave's Ringers Rest is a must do experience. We loved our time here and will definitely be back again.

Great place! Dave’s a hoot and you can’t miss his fabulous Damper (Sunday only)! Ten bucks a night per vehicle only; nice views, great field, cows and horses to say hi to, campfire at night. Don’t miss this gem! Thanks again Dave. We had such a great time!

We had the best time here. Always a nice breeze and plenty of space either in the shade or full sun. We were lucky enough to be here for two Sunday night dampers which were magical.Dave is a legend and a true Australian gentleman.

Fantastic place to stay/base yourself and check out the area. Dave the park host is a real character with plenty of great yarns. Definitely be back one day

We once again had a terrific stay. It is so peaceful - feeling of being far from maddeningly busy places, yet so very conveniently close to major centres and tourist attractions. To top it off, Dave is a TOP guy.

Stayed here for one night on our way through, was the best site we have stayed in. So peaceful, facilities are basic but clean. We arrived on a Sunday and Dave the owner was doing a damper. The whole campsite was involved, sitting round the fire chatting and drinking some beers. Other residents were really welcoming. It was an amazing experience, I'm so glad we stayed here and would highly recommend to anyone.

We stayed at Dave's for one night, and it sure is a diamond in the rough. Peaceful, secure, and if you want to talk about old times then Dave is your man - what a wealth of life experiences on the farm. It was $10, and we didn't need to pack up until 'sundown' which was great because we had rain and our camper needed to dry out. We thoroughly recomme d and will return if you this way again.
