We went away for the weekend and Suzie was definitely the person to trust with the care of our precious fur babies! She visited our two dogs (both older ladies), walked them taking note of their individual needs (border collie cross suffers arthritis), spent time with them, and fed them. Unexpected bonuses were provided too! The labrador's clam pool was cleaned out and water replaced, keys stored securely, and photos sent through to us. Thank you Suzie! We will most certainly be using this amazing service again :)

Highly recommend Suzie. She gave Hennie (cocker spaniel) a clip and bath and he looks great. She got rid of all his mats, even the ones between his toes. His ears are also very clean now. Being mobile is really convenient and was able to come on the weekend. Very friendly and obviously loves dogs.

This is a long review, however I'm writing this hoping that it might help someone else out there that has an elderly or special needs dog.My dog is 13 years old and has recently developed issues with his back and rear legs due to degenerative disc disease. He's an otherwise healthy and happy little man but now struggles standing for long periods of time. He's always been blessed with amazing groomers, however I needed to find someone that could spend the whole time with just him to get him groomed and on his way in as little time as possible as to not aggravate his pain, and unfortunatly the way groomers work is they're working with multiple dogs at one time to stick to their schedule (which is fine and I understand why, but doesn't work in our case now). I searched everywhere trying to find someone that had the care and patience to work with an older dog with special needs and just kept coming up blank. I came across Suzie through one of my endless google searches and liked the reviews I read so decided to bite the bullet and book him in. Suzie's response to my booking query was extremely prompt and we ended up texting back and forth for a day with me airing all my concerns and list of expectations (sorry Suzie!). She was so patient and reassuring and didn't make me feel like the crazy dog mum that I am. Suzie allowed us to bring him to her house for his groom as I dont have access to an external tap for her and she allowed my partner to wait during his groom as we were concerned with it being his first proper groom since his issue developed. However, the most impressive part to me is that she allowed partner to jump in and help her with the lifting/maneuvering of our dog for her to be able to properly reach his belly while limiting any stress or pain to him. The fact she wasn't too proud to accept help to ensure our boy was groomed in a way that was comfortable and pain free for him confirmed to me we had made the right decision in booking with Suzie. Our dog is part paralyzed in his rear legs and trust me, I know from personal experience how difficult it is moving him so my partner and I really appreciated this - Suzie did the entire groom herself, it was just a few minutes at the end for those hard to reach spots. On top of this, Suzie uses a soft fabric sling that she steps the dogs into to keep them in place and help take some of the pressure off them having to stand which I like much better than the collar and lead that I know a lot of groomers use.All up, I would encourage anyone looking for a groomer to reach out to Suzie. She is patient and caring, and most importantly, puts the dogs first. Thanks again and we'll see you next time!
