We envision it is a vehicle for individual development and the strengthening of the family spirit, going beyond the winning losing or contest philosophy. Gracie Barra Sydney Brazilian Jiu Jitsu represents discipline, wellness, family, respect and so much more for anyone wanting to embrace the Jiu Jitsu lifestyle. Our programs are specifically targeted to men, women and kids. We have developed extensive experience training fighters & competitors.

Five stars without a doubt!I have been training with Professor Marcus for the last two years and Gracie Barra Shellharbour has very quickly become a second home.The environment that Marcus, Vanessa and Evelyn have created within the school is warm, welcoming and fun. I reccommend this school to anyone looking to pick up a new hobby for themselves or someone they know!

I highly recommend Gracie Barra. We have had nothing but a positive experience with everyone at Gracie. From day 1, Evelyn, Prof. Marcus, Prof Thiago and all the team have always made us feel welcome. My children have learned so much in the short time we have been here, they have instilled the drive, discipline and community values that will help my kids as they grow. 100% cannot speak high enough of all the team.

The coaches are all super patient and friendly. They keep the kids engaged for the whole session. Our child has asked to go 4 days a week because he just can't get enough.

We have been so happy with our experience at Gracie Barra Shellharbour since our son joined the kids class at the end of 2020. I have been consistently impressed with the professionalism of the staff and even more importantly, how welcoming and inclusive they are with the kids and their families.The classes are a great mix of skill, exercise and FUN! So much so that my daughter couldn’t sit and watch any longer and HAD to join in the classes too!!Thank you Marcus, Evelyn and the team for everything you do!

I have nothing but praise and respect for Gracie Barra Shellharbour and how they have welcomed my son into their Jiu-Jitsu family. And that’s what GB Shellharbour are, a family. Professor Marcus is one of the most amazing humans and he treats every child with care and compassion and is such a wonderful teacher. Evelyn in the office is so welcoming and encouraging of all the kids and all the other coaches are fantastic and all work with the best interest of the kids at heart. If you are looking for a new sport for your child, if your child needs to feel like they belong or if they need help with their confidence then I cannot recommend Gracie Barra Shellharbour enough. My son is thriving under Professor Marcus and the team at GB Shellharbour.

We love BJJ at Gracie Barra. It's a great family oriented club. We've got all our kids + dad attending. (7yo, 10yo, 12yo, 14yo + dad!) And everyone loves it. The teachers/coaches are patient and its definitely a friendly vibe. Lots of the experienced guys always willing to teach what they know. Highly recommend whether for children or adults!

I have been attending Gracie Barra Shellharbour for 5 months and am so happy I joined. The staff are incredible- Evelyn is warm and friendly and Marcus is a knowledgeable and patient teacher. More importantly Gracie Barra Shellharbour is like a family and I felt welcomed there from my first day. I am so happy to be learning Jiu Jitsu in such an amazing environment!

My son loves going so much two nights a week wasn't enough so now he goes four times a week, and rain and floods won't stop him. It's such a friendly and positive vibe there. It's great, highly recommended.
