The Tav is a nice clean tavern in Karratha. The staff are friendly and helpful. As for the food i found it to be quite expensive compared to other establishments in Karratha. A child's cheese burger and chips was $10.00 about the going rate up here, however the burger patty itself was half the size of a cheese burger at hungry jacks jacks around the corner. Very disappointing.

The smoked cheeseburger was great and the renovations look really good. Was a good laugh at the barkeep who’s movement was glacial at best and seemingly determined to do anything but that which he was employed there to do.

Staff’s great but food is pretty disappointing. I’ve asked for this Thai salad as vegan and it was basically rice noodles, salad and spicy dressing. For 30$. One of the worst vegan dishes I’ve had in a restaurant. And it took ages to be ready. It’s 2021, level up your menu and add a real vegan dish.
