Peter Alexandrou epitomizes why real estate agents have a bad reputation. We listed a property for sale and once we signed the agreement and decided not use his stylist his personality changed. After numerous problems during the listing (too many to list) it finally sold. The write on the property on Realestate.com could have been written better by an 8 year old, when questioned he stated that this was out sourced, so why did I have to pay over $20000 commission for sub standard service. He failed to show any professionalism or knowledge about the property even thou we provided him with a specification of the property. On settlement day he had the buyers pick up the keys from his office with no mention to them that the property is alarmed, needless to say the new owners set the alarm off and the adjoining neighbour contacted us, so out of curtesy I went there and found the elderly buyers (in their late 80's) in distress and assisted them (after 2 hours showing them the features of property they too had a bad experience with Peter and had nothing nice to same about him), I would have thought that this is his job and it shows that his has no respect for us let alone the elderly. A four page letter was sent to Phil Harris detailing the experience we encountered, but it took over 3 months to get a response (mind you not from Phil Harris but from his delegate) stating we will look into this matter and advise you of the outcome, it has now been 9 months and still waiting but i wouldn't hold my breath for a response as they now have banked my commission and wouldn't care if I don't list with them again, which proves to me that all they care about is the listing. I found Peter to be socially inept and untrustworthy, both ourselves as sellers and the new buyers would never recommend Harris Real Estate let alone Peter Alexandrou to sell your house.
