Waterfalls Picnic Area

A lovely little tranquil spot just a few kilometers from Avoca. It has a wonderful camping area with concrete fire pits and inbuilt hot plates. It also has a drop toilet block and tourist maps. A couple of walking tracks radiate from here and the actual waterfall is only a short walk from the camping area. Surrounded by tall eucalyptus and rock formations. Definitely worth a visit as it's very close to both the Blue Pyrenees and Mount Avoca winery's.

Beautiful waterfalls all year round! Do be mindful of the potholes and potential ruts when driving to them as it is a dirt road. Short hike to the falls as you walk along the creek that flows from them. Has long drop toilets, do recommend bringing toilet paper as there is none available. Plenty of parking and areas to have a BBQ or picnic

Looks like a great place to to Camp and explore

Great little camping area, waterfall not running at Easter time but being seasonal at this time of year being a bit too dry, some great bush tracks in surrounding area and had nice bike ride on quiet roads into Avoca. Also close to a number of small wineries.Pleasant spot to camp.

Very short walk from the Waterfalls carpark. Follow the Valley Walk signage to walk the Waterfalls Track. There was no water when we went today, but still lovely. Masses of monarch butterflies in the area.

Lovely free campsite

It's a good place for a walk. Watch out for the snakes in warmer weather and take your rubbish with you.

Was better than I expected!I had thought this waterfall would be small. But having visited after heavy rain in the area the day before it had a decent flow and I realised it had several levels to the waterfall. The track was a short walk from the carpark, only a couple of minutes into the walk I could already see the waterfall between the trees.I expect that this waterfall would only be good to visit after a good dump of rain as it was still not a heavy flow of water despite flooding in the area only 24 hours before.If you select the waterfall marker from Google it will try to direct you down a driveway onto private property, take the track to the left instead of turning right into the property. The road was accessible with my 2WD car but there are a couple of large potholes in the road that need to be navigated carefully.

Lovely looking camp site, clean long drop toilets and camp fire pits. Beautiful easy walk with a small amount of water over the Falls.
