What a great little pizza and pasta place. Great ambience, and the staff are so friendly. We will definitely be going back.

Arrived at the restaurant for our booking to be informed they had no booking. We showed her the confirmation email. She said we could stay but only had 2 staff members on (1 on pasta the other pizza) and there would be a delay which we didn't mind.1. Our drinks took 30mins to be sent to our table.2. 4 people ordered pasta, our meals came out quick but the 2 pizzas took an additional half hour. Those on pasta meals had already finished. Pasta meals were delicious, my spicy chorizo gnocchi was amazing. The 2 pizzas were terrible. The Napoleon had ingredients in the middle only and the supreme was tastless.3. Had to wait a further 30 mins again for drinks.4. Pizza deserts were delicious but again came out about 20mins after other deserts. My small apple bites were undercooked and had hardly any filling.We expected delay but getting our meals and deserts out at different times was just bad service.First time here and I have to say will be my last.

Ordered once and the food was alright. Nothing special. Ordering the second time, we placed our order only to be told 10 minutes later that they cancelled our order. Why are you still accepting orders if you aren't accepting them? Order from here if you'd like average food that may arrive.

This is my first time here and I was surprised at my local area has such cute Italian restaurants. So enjoy the live music while we waiting for our food even its a bit slow. But ! Until we got our food and realized we don’t have any cutlery on the table so I asked the waitress for some forks, she literally grab them from other table and threw them on our table… never ever experienced this kinda of treat in any restaurant.

Quiet little Italian place, seems to be family owned. Atmosphere is nice and quiet, it's a nice place to go for a relaxing dinner after a busy day. The service I'd always friendly and staff helpful

Firstly, the staff were friendly! However, the place was very dirty, unwashed glass, cups, near the pizza oven. Toilet had two dunny brushes yuk! So dark! Just terrible environment! The food was okay, I guess they bought frozen meals and microwaved it. Pasta was really dry!

Rainy Tuesday called for a pizza lunch. After a quick search in Google La Zucca was one of the few open in the area so headed down with some friends.Given it was a Tuesday we had the shop to ourselves. Very cosy atmosphere, they have done a great job fitting it out. Booths out the back and nice tables in the middle with lounge seating against the wall. I assume it was the owner that served us, she was lovely and took our drink/pizza orders.Big wood fired oven in the kitchen promised good things in the pizza department. We got a pepperoni and margherita (great pizza to get a baseline of any place). After a short wait we got our pizzas served to our table. The flavours on both pizza were decent. Napoli sauce was simple with a little kick of herbs. Cheese on each pizza again was decent and not overly oily.The only thing missing was that wood fired crisp. The crunch you get at the crust with a nice little crisp on the base. Unfortunately our pizza was floppy and powdery on the base, they probably could of gone another 5mins in the oven.For around $20 the pizza is fairly small for the price and will feed 1 person easily. Whilst it wasn't the best pizza, it was still decent and so its not a bad option of you are local to the area.

Among the highest quality pizza in Brisbane's North for a great price. Particularly recently - they seem to keep getting better. Prompt, flexible and local.
