St George Sailing Club

What an incredible suprise!! The St George Sailing Club recently reopened and is well worth a visit for a meal, drink or even to take in the building / views!! The stunning building is etched over the water, with beautiful windows from floor to ceiling and wall to wall so more patrons get a view.Lighting, music, decor gorgeous! Staff were super friendly, pleasant and all had smiles! Food was fantastic, hot, good portion sizes and came out relatively fast.Highly recommend for a club meal (seemed family friendly too)!

One of my favourite clubs to visit love the atmosphere and quality of food .Service is very good a nice relaxed way to spend a Saturday afternoon. The lamb and cheese cake were sensational.

Stunning venue with a relatively good selection of food but quite pricey for what it is. They offer at table ordering via Mr Yum but you’ll need to order at the counter to utilise your membership discount. Membership gives you 10% off F&B and is a must if you’re within a 5km radius.

Overall our dining experience was positive but variable.The location and views are wonderful but the venue was crowded, the tables were too close together and the noise was quite bad. The dining area is all hard surfaces so it is very loud and not conducive to an easy conversation over a relaxed lunch.The food was excellent. We had the seafood platter for two and a the seared tuna salad. Both were delicious and the seafood platter was good value.The staff were probably overtaxed as it didn't appear that there was enough of them. Some staff were friendly and helpful, some weren't. The staff at reception were excellent, one of the bar staff was clearly disinterested and appeared to want to be anywhere but there. The girl behind the bar was much better. The staff member taking the food orders was VERY friendly and happy to have a chat, and that's great. Except when there is a queue of eight waiting to be served and the queue is growing while he is chatting.Generally it is OK, but I will look elsewhere next time.

The venue is ideally designed and suited to take the best advantage of the fantastic views, whether you’re indoors or outside. Parking is spacious and easy to access.Bookings are essential and should be completed in advance to avoid disappointment.The menu was extensive and catered for all dietary requirements. Great for lunch, drinks or hosting parties, it’s not fine dining and yet it’s not bistro either - good, honest tasty food.Definitely a place to revisit and we’ll definitely be returning.

Great place for a family meal get together or occasion. There are a couple of dining areas and both overlook the water of St George’s River.The service is friendly and fast. Booking are a good idea as it gets pretty busy - we were there on a Sunday and there were a lot of big group celebrations.The food is similar to pub food but upscale - burgers, parmi, schnitzel, pasta etc. the meal are generous and tasty. The parmi is a good option as is the prawn linguine. Heaps of free parking as well. If you live within a five kilometre radius you’ll need to sign up unless someone who is a member signs you in.

Location is the best,food was really nice but bartenders weren’t friendly so it’s a FOUR!It was my first time having dinner here last night but no matter how delicious the food is if customer service is bad,you don’t wanna come back!Actually I wanted to give a THREE but the order taker(♥️)was nice.

Best venue in the local area with stunning views and ambience. Highly recommended. It is my new favourite local place.The food is on the higher side, mains ($32- $52) though good quality. Favourite dishes, the oysters, prawn pasta, pork belly & spice rubbed chicken. Some good wines on the menu for quite reasonable prices too.Have also came with a group of 17, service was excellent, shared menu with lamb shoulder was delicious and heaps of food! Staff very helpful and accommodating. Pretty good coffee as well.Convenient opening hours from lunch through to dinner. The membership for locals is high at $25, though includes good discounts.St George has been needing something like this, and the new renovations have created a bright, stylish and cool venue with plenty of seating and stunning views.

2nd time dining here…can’t fault anything! The foods were delicious, we ordered sirloin steak, prawn linguine, margherita pizza, chicken karagee & chips, and sticky date pudding for dessert! Lemon lime bitters was great! The view is stunning! The staff were friendly! Will dine in again for sure!

It is newly built venue replacing old one. It was really well designed with beach holiday style feeling. When you are seating inside you really feel like you are on holidays somewhere relaxing and enjoy!
