Had a thermal by-pass valve fitted to my Ranger transmission for towing, easy to book in, dropped it off the night beforehand because it was convenient for me.Picked it up the next day with a excellent explanation as to what was done and the car drove brilliant.Highly recommend.P.s their dog is extremely handsome and will require patting when you arrive and leave....

Jamie is a legend. He worked long and hard to repair our Troopy's rear diff as quickly as possible. As travelers and the troopy being our home, this meant the world to us! We have since driven more than 6000km and everything is perfect. I would go as far as to drive back from Melbourne to see him.

I needed someone to look at my van as I dont have 4th gear and I can only drive at 60kms max and its using so much petrol. I saw him personally and he said to book in but when I went to he said no he cant put it on a hoist. I really needed some help as I dont have anyone to help me

Jamie had put a recon transmission in my Statesman just over a year ago. When I started to have trans issues recently, he took it for a drive and knew straight away what it was. I had to wait a few weeks for it to be repaired (Jamie was snowed under with work and was trying to squish me in as much as possible, and my car needed body repairs at another shop) - but I will always happily wait for him. He does a brilliant job, knows his stuff, and doesn't charge a fortune. He also did not take advantage of the fact that I am a female customer as well. Keep it up mate, I will always be a return customer for any trans issue on any car I own.

He was great. Quoted me for my service a good price, I thought. When I went to pick up my car he let me know that it wasn't the model I thought it was and charged me less!!! A rare moment in history people. An honest mechanic that did a top notch service on my trans. Highly recommend the bloke and his work. Thanks, I've told all my friends and family about JRM.

Had a transmission rebuild done for a VY SS.. Others were quoting me crazy prices, let's just say over $4k.Jamie gave me a good price, kept it on par with the qoute and had the job done quick too. Definitely recommend them.

I never leave reviews but had to for JRM Transmissions, I called to ask if they could look at my transmission sensor as I'd been waiting about 6 months on another transmission mechanic to get back to me. JRM said that they could look at it the day I called, sourced the part while I was there and booked me in 3 days later to do the job.Definitely the place to go for transmission work (the other mechanic had me come in twice to check the fault codes that were exactly the same then said they'd call me back,. I called every week for about 2 months before giving up) - it was so great to finally have my car issue fixed, and so fast!

5 stars all round. I took my first car to him that was having issues, had it back on the road and running like new. I did have an unrelated electrical issue and he also helped me diagnose and fix that myself. Well worth booking any car in with these guys!
