Amazing, not often have I had the pleasure of being treated with such respect and courtesy from a Real Estate Agent as a tenant. They are great communicators, and get things fixed when needed in a very speedy manner. Happy tenants stay is all I can say to potential landlords wanting to find an agent.

We just had the absolute worst possible experience with McGrath Lane Cove (this was after we have had very pleasant experiences with Jellis Craig and Raine & Horne in the past). They are very biased and have absolutely no respect for the tenants’ views or the facts. They expected us to pay for everything that had ever happened to an extremely poorly maintained/old property. This was almost entirely because we broke the lease early (although we did pay the termination fee) which clearly did not please them. In my 8 years of renting 5 properties (across Australia and Hong Kong) have never had such a pathetic experience. An agent should adequately listen to the points of view of both the parties (and just not side with the landlord). Would highly recommend avoiding them and possibly for the authorities to look into such high handed behaviour.

It is so easy to work with Anastasija at McGrath. She has been managing our investment property for a year so far. She is very professional, very efficient and always gets onto the requests in a timely manner. Very happy!

We had one of the worst experiences with McGrath, in the year we stayed as tenants in a rental they managed. Our agent got sick at the beginning of the tenancy and nobody in the entire office thought of replacing him or at least allocating the properties under his care to someone else. We had to speak to someone different every time for the major issues that came with the rental, and of course it took forever to get anything done. So glad we moved.

We were so lucky that Sam does his job damn well.We were lucky enough to be the buyers but it was a house that didn’t come up in our searches because of a small variation in our criteria. Sam is smart and hit the phones to house hunters & buyers agents, calling around about this off market property. We would not have even seen our dream home. We moved fast and was thankful that communication between us, agents, other parties and the vendors was swift.We recommend Sam, to our friends & contacts who have sold, because he doesn’t play games or mess about during such a stressful, important time in someone’s life. Highly recommended to buy & sell through if you want stress free success.
