Hoskings Melton.Carmel and Phyllis are the most friendly ladies I have had the pleasure of walking into a retail shop ..They always greet me with a smile. ..They are always helpful . If I'm not sure of something they are only too eager to help or suggest anything to me..I have been a hoskings Melton customer for over 10 years. I will never shop at any other jewellery store, because I trust Phyllis and Carmel.Hoskings Melton should be proud to call these ladies their employees. BAD SERVICE.Store attendants not attentive, they make you feel like an idiots..they make you wait, they are more interested chatting to one another it's the 2nd time that I have ask to be serve. I Can understand if is busy but, I was the only customer in-store and 3 store attendants NO EXCUSE.Its too obvious they don't have a customer care.

Wow. What can I say. What an awful place. I went there on a Thursday night and both doors were nearly closed and I asked the ladies are u closed and she said in 10mins, then I said I know what I want I won't be long. I should them a photo of what I wanted to buy and all they said was what's the sky number of the item. I said I have the photo and they just kept saying that they couldn't help me coz I didn't have the number of the item. It seems like this shop doesn't want to make money or help customers. The staff were very rudeI will never go to this shop again.

I went into Hoskings Jewellery at Woodgrove Melton yesterday evening as my Swarovksi bracelet my partner bought me for Christmas last year had many crystals missing, so wanted to enquire about replacement of the bracelet. Upon being introduced to the manager, I was looked down on due to my tattoos being on show (my day off, so was dressed casually. Give me a spell). I was then asked by said manager if I had my receipt, to which I explained no I personally didn't, as it was a present last year... did I have my warranty card? Probably, but again, not on me.On sighting my ruined bracelet, I was met with a berating of had I worn it in water or been in contact with chemicals as that was the ONLY way my bracelet would be missing so many crystals. When I answered saying no I hadn't had contact with chemicals, I was abruptly informed that the damage was not going to be covered under warranty, irrespective of whether I have a receipt for the jewellery or not.This particular 'manager' made me (a person usually very unlikely to baulk at criticism) feel so unworthy of beautiful jewellery that I left the store, never to return again for any further purchases.

I recently shopped at the store looking for a Mother’s Day gift. I really didn’t have a particular item in mind. I can honestly say that the staff member that helped me was very patient and very informative (great product knowledge) with every item that I wanted to see. I work in the Customer Service industry and I could not fault her one bit!!With success I purchased my beautiful piece of jewellery - let’s hope my mum loves the gift more than I do!
