Evening meals (fri, sat, sun) are incredible - best restaurant on the beaches if you want great Sardinian tapas, fantastic service and a unique Europe like ambiance over looking the ocean. Wouldn’t recommend for groups over 4 people, it’s perfect for 2 people so you can sit at the bar over looking the waves.

I'm a regular at this cafe. The coffee is great and the egg and pancetta roll is to die for. One of the best rolls on the Northern beaches. Dine in or take away and sit on the grassy hill overlooking beautiful Freshwater Beach. The choice is yours.

The high point had to be the staff in particular the Marty who was generous with his Accommodating nature and warm smile.Over all the food was enjoyable but kind of lost me with the Jatz Crackers seriously not sure if they ran out of somthing and simply ran to the corner store or was this was a serious menue item.Surely no self respecting chef would serve a jatz cracker so love to return to figure out the secret missing menue ingredient for this entree.

Definitely going back. Delicious, interesting food without trying to solve the problems of the world. Lovely ambience and we had impeccable service. Wine list feels a little overpriced but not the only place like that. A couple more choices by the glass would be good. We had the degustation type thing which was really well balanced and fair value.

Cafe outside of Pilu, which is great if you want just a quick bite and not sit down for a 3 course meal. The deep fried Calamari fritte is highly recommended with a whole assortment of vegetables in addition to squid and octopus. The fish burger is also really fresh and tasty. Throw in the great views and you have a winner
