Great service frim ELA.I took my car to another mechanic in the area as my car was shaking under hard breaking and it was due for a pinkslipI was told that my car required new pads and rotors on both the front and rear, new shocks, new wheel bearings, and specifically told that my rotors could not be resurfaced as my rotors were too old - and that they wouldn't pass my car without allnofnthe avlbove work being done firstI was shocked to hear this as none of these isues were brought to my attention when I had my car serviced 6 month's prior and decided on a second opinion from another mechanicAs a result I went to google, read some reviews and called ELA to book my car in as it seemed that they had a good reputationAfter I had dropped my car off at ELA they contacted me as soon as they had finished assessing my car.I was adviced that the front pads needed replacing and the front rotors needed resurfacing.The team at ELA told me that my car would meet rego requirments as is, but told me thay it would be best to have the front brakes addressed now as that was the cause of the shaking and was hampering breaking performance.I asked if my shocks or wheel bearings needed replacing or had any issues and was told that they were fine. ELA also told me that the rear breaks would need the same work done within the next 6 months, but everything else was fine.I was given a quote to replace the 2 pads and resurface the 2 rotors in thenfront and a second quote to do all 4 now. Thenprice for all 4 worked out to be much cheaper then the first mechanics had alluded to and as a result I agreed to go ahead with the additional work.Couldn't fault the transparency or service in anyway.
