Beautiful old pub being restored. We stayed in a completely charming room overlooking the enormous verandah. Dined at the restaurant, huge meals and good wine. Had a great time. Recommended, we will definitely be back.

We stopped in for lunch here. The food was amazing with large quality servings. The staff went above and beyond! The friendliest and best service I’ve received at a restaurant in years. I would highly recommend this pub!!!

Door opened for us on arrival as we were ushered to the warm wood fire out of the cold. Fantastic service and incredible feed! We had the cheesy garlic bread which blew our bloody socks off, Hawaiian Parmi and Angus Burger with added pickles. If you want a good pub, treat yaself to this one!

Great place to have a drink! Staff are super friendly. Best place for a night out in town, this hotel stays open much longer than the others. Check this place out during Halloween and other holidays, they actually make an effort! Highly recommended.

Very tasty lunches. Good value. Nicest pub lunch we have had in ages. Dogs allowed on leashes in the beer garden. Lovely staff.

Great comfortable pub and hotel. We stayed for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Great hosts in Dave and Jacinta. Nothing was too difficult. The meals were great, although the parmas were big enough to feed two people! Thanks for a great stay.

Had a superb porterhouse with chips and salad at the Vic pub (green peppercorn sauce). Sounds simple but the day before I had a fantastic rack of spring lamb at the Whitefield pub and the day before that a great 2 course lunch with matching wines at Brown Brothers. I am now wondering which one was best. All 3 places highly recommended.

We stayed here on a trip to Rutherglen. Being the cheapest accomodation at the time online, we crossed our fingers. Turns out it is central accomodation (great after an evening of visiting local wine bars), clean, and very comfortable. I would definitely stay again. A great historic pub, with all the charm. Highly recommend.

Classic country pub, great friendly service, very helpful staff, huge outdoor beer garden, pet friendly interesting old pub. Standard pub menu cooked to perfection and the serving size is a challenge for even the hungriest.
