Wow, what a great friendly place to eat on Saturday night. Make sure you book if you want a table, or you might need to get takeaway or just sit out in the bar area.They have a small menu, prices are really reasonable for the quality of food. We both chose the special slow cooked lamb shanks on mash with winter vegetables which were plentiful ( definitely got your 5 vegetables servings). Price $25.Menu varies each weekAlso got bottle of merlot for $15.Despite being very busy between 6-7 the meal came out pretty quickly. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Spend time after dinner in the bar talking to all the locals.

Huge meals and friendly staff made for a great Saturday night dinner. Obligatory raffle and large tables. June & Wayne add to the atmosphere. I would suggest dimmer lighting at dinner but the elderly clientele may not be able to see each other. Have to book by Friday for Saturday night. Recommend no later than 6:15 pm. Generic pub meals. If you have dietary requirements then phone ahead to see if possible- do not assume. Would return.

Boonooroo Golf Course and Tavern
We rolled in and were welcomed from the very beginning! My husband was invited to play golf with the owner and some locals, the campsite was flat and dog friendly. Meals were affordable and delicious.The little touches around the place made for a very enjoyable stay in our self contained caravan. We will be back to get some of those famous salads!
