I really enjoyed the food and the service. The taste of the food was really really good! I was surprised I honestly didn’t expect it after seeing the reviews so don’t believe the reviews. Go have a dance and eat and drink it’s worth it!

Food cooked perfectly from an extensive, well priced menu. My companions from inner Sydney, who frequently dine out, were very impressed and will return, so they may dine outside, as our date was a little rainy. The waitress so helpful, attentive and engaging.

Edit: Initially gave 5 stars based on a previous experience months ago, but now reduced to 1 star after my visit today. A 55 minute wait for 2 burgers is just appalling. The toilets were in dire need of a clean and the ibis problem needs to be attended to. I also came here the night before and ended up with a sore tummy. I guess we can't pinpoint it certainly on this place but after seeing ibis feasting and crapping on the tables I can't help but think there is a link. Not coming back.

This is the third and last time that we will come to this place for a meal or drinks.Ordering was offered at the table, yet no one ever turned up to enquire, so we went to the kitchen where our table was issued three numbers. On delivery of the first order, the remaining numbers were also taken away so staff had no idea where to bring the remaining orders. This led to me having to chase up the staff at the kitchen to ensure that the meals for No. 165 came to our table, as the number had already been reallocated to another table. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating, and it was finally sorted. The food is basically pub food" however many hotels now exceed this standard

We recently had our work Christmas Party with a group of 25 people - We all had the most amazing time. The service was excellent from start to end. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food and drinks, oh my gosh, AMAZING! - plentiful and delicious. Timing of all the courses was seamless, with staff making sure of our desired timing - it was very professionally handled. The atmosphere was great, with music on the verandah giving a great vibe, and the view of the river, as the sun went down....just beautiful. I highly recommend Emu Hall for your next function, definitely value for money.

Revitalising river views in this Victorian revamped kitchen and bar, tucked away on a sharp turn off the great western highway over the bridge. It was a beautiful morning when we visited, and many sprawled outdoors dining, enjoying the scenery and company. There's a few private spaces, open dining areas, and external seating. Food is moderately priced and quality moderate, too. I had the chocolate Belgium stack pancakes with chocolate peanut butter protein shake with baileys. Service was tentative, afterwards, we took a walk over the commuter bridge next to the venue. You could easily host a wedding reception, birthday, or gatherings here.

When arriving to emu hall be careful if you are coming from Penrith over the bridge as you can easily miss the turn into the driveway. We visited Emu Hall on a quite night during the week. We sat out the back in the restaurant for dinner. We dined as a group of 6 and have to say the service was slow even though it was not busy. The drinks took 15 mins to get the table and after sitting for half an hour we had to call a waiter over to order. The meals were delivered quickly once ordered and were all meals were as described on the menu. Fresh and tasty but over priced for what you receive and the level of service you would expect more for what you are paying.I would visit again to the venue another opportunity to turn my experience around and see if it is any different. The location is what the stars are for. Beautiful grounds and lots of seating outside in the fresh air. Perfect for a afternoon watching the sun set. So many ideas come to mind what this venue could do with the location that they miss to do.
