Came here for suit alterations. She ruined the pants leaving them in worse condition than when I brought them in, ruined the waistband to the point where the pants no longer even fit. She didn't even bother mending the hole at the knee but was happy to charge for it. The suit jacket sleeves were the only thing she actually altered and did them way too short. I was charged twice as much as any other alteration service, she took 3 times as long to do it and completely butchered a $600 suit. Refused to take responsibility for the destruction of my property and even with the threat of the OFT refused to provide me with a refund and receipt.DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE

Do not use this place! It was recommended to me by the store I purchased my dress from.They realised half way through cutting my hem that they had made it too short so I ended up with an uneven hem which looked terrible. They were unable to fix it as they had already taken too much off. They refused to provide a refund or any other discount. The customer service was the worst I have ever received. Please avoid this place.

'Brides of Brisbane' ordered me the wrong dress. They were refusing to offer any sort of compensation. I was a distressed bride, but the wonderful ladies at Lu Lu Fashions were able to do A LOT of work on the dress to make it perfect. Not only that, to make up for the fact that I had to spend over $1000 in alterations to make the dress what it should've been, they gave me a discount, despite the fault not being theirs. My dress looked perfect on the day.

Lu Lu Fashions was recommended to me by the bridal store from which I purchased my dress.I required the hem to be taken up, the top of the back to be taken in and a bustle to be added. I requested that you also let my dress out slightly around my hips, but was told that it wasn't necessary". The service I received was poor. I was ignored when I walked in

Fantastic! I saw some of the old negative reviews & worked out there has to be more to the story! Always 2 sides!I went to and Helen has been honest and told me when what I was asking for wasn't possible...taught me alot! I am not a professional seamstress so I trusted her and pleased I did! I got so many compliments on my dress! Thankyou Helen for making me feel beautiful.

AMAZING!! I can not thank Helen enough! She has saved my Wedding Dress. Which i had two other seamstress look at (they over charged and undelivered). Helen is kind, listens to you and is so talented! i now call her my magician. Just when i was ready to look for a new dress, Helen quickly and easily rectified the problem! DO NOT COME HERE. I was just charged $38 for this shop to spend less than 1 minute hemming my dress, and was told it would an extra $20 for them to neaten up the ragged edges. At no point before she cut my dress did she quote me a price. Deeply unimpressed.
