If you’re a fan of sea urchin, don’t miss this place. Their sea urchin is super fresh you can taste the sea in every bite. The ambiance is surprisingly good with European/French style of decor. Prepare to pay premium price or premium quality though.

That was amazing sea urchin in Melbourne. I ordered the sashimi platter was great and fresh. Also unidon and otoro on rice were really really beautiful. I will come back for sure.

Tried out the Singapore Chili Crab Urchin Rice Bowl. It was a fusion of little surprises for the palate. A texture and flavour exploration through the mud crab meat two pieces sea urchin, egg yolk, crunchy stuff, tobiko and brought together with a spicy-sweet chilli sauce. A tasty dish. All cooked well. Teamed it up in a combo with scallop chawanmushi and miso soup. The chawanmushi was delicious, flavourful and a smooth silky texture. On the pricy side, but it was high quality so alright.Educational hallway on sea urchins. A quirky underwater interior.The only qualm we had was trying to order specials via the website on our phones and not being able to (reduction in a star- as it wasted time). The waitress said we must order via phone and couldn't order at the counter. Ended up having to order at the counter as their technology didn't support the order. Also popcorn serving was too small. By the time I returned to the table it was already eaten.Toilets were well equipped with floss, mouth rinse and a memorable display of perfume bottles.
