My daughter versed this school in a game of IGSA tennis, Meriden is well renowned for it's tennis and I respect that but apparently that doesn't equal to good court etiquette. They were chewing gum on the courts, making passive aggressive comments to the opposing team and just being unenthusiastic to play with some of the worst sportsmanship known to man.

The young ladies attending this school must not be aware that they are not entitled to take up a double seat during the morning perk hour trains (with opal cards funded by the taxpayers). Yes, a school bag does not need it's own seat. At least they were smart enough" to act entitled in their own school uniform with the logos on their bags and blazers."

My daughter goes to this school, don’t listen to all the bad comments this school is fantastic. My daughter couldn’t be happier the students are great well behaved and all very friendly, there is absolutely no racism at this school the teachers go out of their way to help all students. As parents we couldn’t be happier also. Yes not cheap but all private schools not cheap you pay what you get. Five Stars

A school that regards money and ranking as the most important does not pay attention to students' psychological education, accompanied by campus bullying. Don't think that the school has strong teachers, which is the result of most students spending money on making up classes outside.

Meriden is the best school I have ever gone to, it has amazing teachers, the canteen is amazing, and I get a very good education. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else

I would not recommend. The school focuses on the top class in each subject, and attribute all their resources to these classes. If your daughter is not in these classes, she is neglected. I also found the quality of the teachers vary considerably. There is also a high turnover amongst the teaching staff, which provides some insight into the culture at the school. The principal at a number of her public addresses tells parents not to worry about their daughter’s education, this is for them (Meriden) to worry about. However, from my experience, there is nothing further from the truth (providing your daughter is not in the top class). Finally, if you, as a parent question the teaching standard, your daughter is discriminated against.

The most wonderful schooling experience especially after moving to Meriden from a public school. Caring teachers, encouragement to try anything and real support. Hope to be able to send my future daughters there.

Please do not enrol your daughters to this school, the environment is incredibly toxic in all aspects. This includes teacher politics, favouring, and common student exclusion. It solely functions on elitism and negatively pressurises students unlike any other school. The teaching standards are very low and student performance is completely dependent on self teaching, limiting their growth, learning, support and future opportunities. The school has good sporting facilities and supportive sporting staff that operate with inclusion and positivity unlike most of the school. However, this does not make up for the majority of the schooling experience being unpleasant. I really wish my family and I had read honest reviews about this school before choosing to enrol here because it is incredibly good at presenting a fake facade to attract new students and parents. If you would like yourself or your children to be mentally healthy, happy and gain an all rounded positive high school experience I would not recommend attending this school.
