I called in today to make a general enquiry about booster vaccinations but was greeted by a most unfriendly staff member who told me in no uncertain terms that they had no supplies and anyway why was my GP suggesting I enquire there. Her statement was that these sort of enquiries only make my job harder". I intended to change my GP to the more convenient BCH Centre

After looking days for a doctor who would accept new patients as a local, I came across Bellarine Community Heath & Gp Portarlington. They even managed to find me a quick availability for the following day. The receptionist was delightful to speak to, very helpful and welcoming. Dr Alison was very informative and made me feel comfortable.

I am a new resident to Portarlington and wanted to find a local doctor. Needed an urgent appointment for an X-ray referral and was given an appointment that day. Was then fitted back in after the X-ray for a plaster cast. Dr Lucy Ham was very professional and caring.

Lucy is the most amazing GP who understands women’s issues. She is very thorough and perseveres until she gets to the bottom of what’s wrong. Lucy is personable and understanding. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a good GP.
