Rachael and Shelley have been great at managing my property, always making my life as easy as possible, communicating clearly and addressing issues quickly.I’ve also spoken to someone who has rented off them and received a similar positive experience as a tenant.I would recommend Burtons to manage your property and, if possible as a renter, to lease from them.

My husband and I purchased a property off the plan about 1.5 half years ago which we recently settled. If it wasn't for Shane Budak an ex- employee of the company we still wouldn't have any updates on our progress.Lucas Burton who is the so called owner of the company is appalling to deal with! He is rude, disrespectful, does not return phone calls or emails until you chase him up 3+ times. I would never recommend this company, nor would I buy a slice of bread of him if I was starving. I hope one day he learns to treat people with respect and understands what true customer service is about.

Our investment property is managed by Rachael Hammer and she has been incredible. You don't know how good/bad a property manager is until you really have to rely on them, and over months of water damage issues with our property (during stage 4 lock down as well!) Rachael has been nothing but helpful, patient, super responsive and has helped us in dealing with OC, insurance companies, contractors etc. We also purchased this apartment from them 3+ years ago and had a great experience then also. I noticed lots of mixed reviews below, in service industries the company name doesn't seem to really mean anything, its all about the people you deal with and our experience with Rachael has been excellent.

Absolutely disgusted but mainly disappointed at the manner in which potential customers are treated! We went to the hampton display and Jack Roberts “greeted us “ while he was on a phone call. 10min later without an apology he approached us and barely showed and explained the features.I said I was from Mexico, had to make some calls and I will contact him back. The response I got back from him was: are you calling the narcos?Flat rude, ZERO professionalism, racist but mostly IGNORANT. I just couldn’t believe how someone who is supposed to be my friend and get the sale was treating me that way.The best part of this story comes when I called Lucas Burton (who is supposed to be Jack Roberts manager) the next day to tell him about the experience and how we got treated and he only said : I’m sure he was only joking. Acted very dismissive about the whole situation. This company’s staff is a total JOKE.

We recently settled on an off the plan unit in Prahran. We are based in Sydney. Due to Covid restrictions we were unable to come and do a final inspection before purchase. Rachael was able to do this for us and has been amazing in her dealings with us, especially whilst Victoria was in lockdown. She has been responsive to calls and emails and I have found her very professional and experienced in her dealings with me and her knowledge of property management and the area has been nothing short of fantastic. No request was ever too much trouble. She has secured a quality tenant who has just moved in and I am confident her high level of service and responsiveness will continue. I would have no reservations in recommending Rachael from Burtons.

I'm writing this review during what is a nightmare experience with another real estate agent and landlord in a new property, only 3 months after leaving a property that Rachael managed at burtons for me during my tenancy.Rachael was always professional, quick to respond, efficient and courteous. She mediated any issues i had quickly with the landlord and responded with a timely manner. Qualities you likely take for granted until you experience the complete opposite.If you are a landlord, i would choose Burtons to manage it, and if you are a renter, you can have a sense of ease here. I highly recommend the great job that Rachael and these guys do.

We purchased an apartment through Burtons and we were very happy with the entire process. We found Shane Budak was easy to deal with. He is a genuine, very professional, helpful, knowledgeable and extremely responsive agent. Shane has always been available to assist at all times! I want to thank Jack Roberts for his advice and professionalism during the search and purchase of our new home in Port Melbourne.
