Pleasant enough store, although our experience was sadly tarnished when an overzealous retail assistant admonished my two children and snatched away the books through which they were quietly browsing. I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone trying to foster a love of books in their children.

Fantastic shop with a nice range of very thoughtfully selected books. Found Home Body by Joanna Gaines, a book we have been searching for. Also the best dad joke book that my wife is going to torcher me with. Thanks for a great find.

Absolutely fantastic book shop that is extremely well stocked. Staff are well read and up to the minute on latest reads. Hilarious gift cards and funky reading glasses.Thank you for providing the author talk with “Dr Harry” of the miraculous Thai cave dive rescue. Kingscliff is fortunate that the amazing Maryanne owns this bookshop.

I would've bought a book from here if the lady working there that day actually said hello and asked me if I wanted help. I was the only person in there . I was not even asked if I need help after looking at a lot of books for a long time!Decided on a $40 book after a good 45 minutes but didn't end up purchasing afterall due to the lack of basic customer service.I will note that several (obviously) locals popped in while I was there and she didn't hesitate to greet them and have a yarn.You may not like tourists but we're happy to spend money and we're nice people, too.

We always stop here on our way south from brisbane! it is such a fabulous bookstore with wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable staff (hi Katrina!), a great collection of books, a great kids' section and lots of advice from the helpful people behind the counter. Also has funny and interesting greeting cards! We love it and wouldn't miss a visit!

It's a small shop but clean. There was a good selection of children's books for all ages. I saw some fiction and books on the area. The prices were comparable the other shops on the boardwalk.
