We ordered a supreme pizza and loaded chips. The pizza was very full yet the base remained crisp and not soggy. The loaded chips were so.loaded and tasty. Big, big serves. Very filling. Will be back.

Stopped in last minute for an early lunch and ordered the pumpkin pizza...OMG..it was amazing!!! Full of flavour and the crust was crispy all the way to the centre..best pizza I've had in a very long time. Thank you Shields St Eats 10/10

Before I talk about the food, let me say This business puts in a lot of effort to make customers happy and always come back. The Food is very gourmet and very high quality for a family owned restaurant. Me and my family are a regular to shield St eats as we live in Scarbrough which is a 2 or so minute drive away from this amazing business.we love the food…Burgers are insane, Pizza is outstanding, Onion rings are some of the best myself and the family have tried, fries are pretty good. Other stuff on the menu I haven’t tried but I’m sure it’s amazing. Family from Townsville up north that has never tried Shield St came to visit, they were impressed in the food.If you’re in the area and interested, please go to Shield St eats! And you will not regret it…enjoy your meal and thank me laterAs of writing this review…tonight (Mother’s Day 2023) we had shield st eats tonight for dinner. That’s how much my family and I love this placeShield st eats, if you’re reading this review, I LOVE YOU GUYS!!! Keep up your amazing service and food. Good coffee on an alfresco deck overlooking a park. Very relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast menu until 11:00 then lunch menu available. Breakfast menu is mainly egg based. Lunch menu consists of wood fired pizzas, burgers and some salads. Alcohol is available. A touch pricey.

This is the second time we were disappointed here for lunch. Pumpkin salad had good ingredients but bland with no added flavours. Pizza had a lovely crispy base. The tomato sauce and mozerella cheese bearly discernible. Chicken, capsicum, pineapple on top of the cheese which we had to search for. was not very warm . No added flavourings

Stopped by for a late evening gelato and was pleased to see this as an option. Only reason we saw this place sells gelatos is because they have a sign on the sidewalk that says so. Didn’t see any mention of this in the reviews.Gelatos were good, and if i had to nitpick I’d say the scoops could be fuller, however no major complaints here.

Excellent place to spend breakfast. Service is friendly, and the coffee and food is fabulous. If you're feeling energetic you can actually go for a stroll along the beachfront across the road.

Want scrambled eggs instead of fried - add $1. Want bacon with your sour dough and eggs - add $5 for only one piece (no bacon and eggs option on the list to avoid this). Service was good and food is ok. Coffee was average as well. Nice spot and friendly staff but overpriced for what it is.
