DHL Express Service Point (DHL Express Service Centre)

If you have a choice, just avoid the DHL service. This comment box is not long enough to express the whole drama that we had with this company because of their staff members. Totally unreliable! Just don't use this company at all. We should have read the product review website before choosing DHL.

Customer service is non-existent at this place. The Asian lady yells out personal details for everyone to hear, so rude and unhelpful. Sadly DHL is the only service to access for immediate delivery overseas so we are stuck with these incompetent people.

Fast delivery from overseas but the delivery here locally was bad/unclear. It showed the delivery date but no phone call or attempt that day, and then the next day they schedule it again. I tried to call DHL Fyshwick to check the time as it didn’t come on the time stated, and I was told around 3:30-5:30. So, I went out to have some groceries and food. The driver called me once as I stepped out of our garage. He didn’t pickup when I returned his/her call and then saw the delivery car took off. I also saw the car in the road. I don’t know why do they have to be so always in hurry where they have a schedule to follow. Are the customers the ones to adjust??? I get it you have so many packages to deliver but you have to follow the schedule not your own selfish itinerary just because you wanna finish early because that’s not our problem!!! Follow the schedule because that package is expected to come on that time and that day!!! Do your job properly regardless of what’s your reason coz we paid for an express delivery to come in the right time and place—not in your own convenience. Now it’s a hassle to pick up on the designated location or disappointing to wait the next day just because we are not at home when you delivered, when the time you have given was earlier than expected. Such a poor service.

Not so great if you want to send something other than the usual (like something cylindrical). No service available, apparently! I have used DHL in 8 countries, and found them great, but here it is just standard boxes or nothing. I'll never bother with them again. Very disappointing.

Delivery service is excellent but while filling up the forms for things to be sent it is quite tricky and takes more time. I just wish Global company like DHL simplify and make such forms customer friendly.

My mum had to send a large package today, and after my good experiences with DHL, and thinking that it would be better to use a courier, decided to ship it from this branch.When she got there she was given the whole runaround of repacking an obviously already wrapped and prepared package, repacking it in a DHL box, and being left with empty space for the items to move about in it once packed. And only after that whole show did the staff let her know it would've been cheaper and easier to send it with Auspost.Really, even if it means lost sales, that should be the first port of call for customer service, and it's a pretty poor showing that the staff didn't help someone who obviously hadn't used DHL before.

Entirely capable of leaving a parcel on the shelf for over a week at this local depot. How about delivering the parcel once it reaches Canberra! There shouldn't be need to chase then still failing to deliver the next day after calling.

Efficient updates appreciated and driver was great. The text advising my parcel would come between 11 and 9 pm though was a concern. Business hours for deliveries should be adhered to for the driver and mainly for customer. Dogs barking, families with children already asleep etc concern me with these hours. I wonder why more reasonable hours are not managed. I have never had a delivery like this, not even in the busy lead up to Christmas. Review updated amid Covid 19 in May 2020 and items from OS have arrived so quickly and I have suggested to other companies that they should offer this as an option at checkout. Very impressed and option to leave at door now is great.

I just received a package from a DHL delivery driver called Gina. She was so polite and efficient that I just had to leave a review.I was really impressed by her professionalism and courtesy when delivering a very important package. It arrived in perfect condition and turned up on time. Thank you so much Gina!
