Best place in Sydney for a cocktail! The bartender Alonso makes amazing drinks and I was so happy with my experience here. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Sydney looking for a local pub with great food, drinks and music!

Very good food in this pub. I came here couple of time and ordered specials. Yesterday I had the chicken skin to start and Veal liver and Lamb. The best!!!!A month ago, they had crispy port knuckles. I was amazed! Will come back for more specials.

I was there for the State of Origin last night. The bar upstairs where they projected the footy was fantastic.I ordered the Veal Schnitzel and it was great. I was very disappointed though, I love lemon and I received the tiniest lemon wedge, I asked the waitress for another 10 pieces as I like to drench my veal in lemon. The waitress said “the kitchen will only give you 5.” I would have happily paid more, I thought this was really poor service from the kitchen team.Apart from that the bar staff upstairs were wonderful all night.

Good place to grab a drink. Food was on the average side, but could have just been the meal I ordered. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere came to life in the night time.

It was our first experience throwing a birthday party in a venue in Sydney, we absolutely enjoyed it. Ailish did her best to make it happen, easy to communicate, and a great organiser. We booked the Cocktail Lounge and the room was exactly the one we hoped for to have 40+ guests... the luxury of having a nice private bar was a huge game changer, in addition to the dance floor which was spacious enough... We played our songs through a very good sound system... all in all everything went smoothly. Food was great as well...Crows Nest functions are highly recommended if you are after a cosy private room spending quality time with your family and friends for an occasion...

Feels like The Oaks Cremorne with lots of differently named rooms, like Ballroom, Dining room, Hallway etc. Staff slow to clean up plates/ glasses after dinner hordes come in. Band and DJ start 10pm. Good space upstairs with some cool kitsch decorations. Funky music was playing while we were there. Will return!

Everything you can expect from a pub. The outdoor area is very nice as well as the bar.But the foods is very average.

I was so pleased with the service, the staff are amazing and incredibly friendly, Bronte the licensee took the time to pour me a drink while the staff were busy. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I was looked after. I was also impressed with the quality of the food and the range of cocktails. A great place to come for a few drinks and lunch!!! Highly recommend

I was recommended to come here today for the drag Bingo. Despite it being a busy day (the day before ANZAC day), I was pretty disappointed to learn that they had run out of house wine. This made me wonder what they will serve on Tuesday, which is likely to be the busiest day of the year. The young bartender girl poured me a wine at $22, but before I could see it properly, my partner had tapped the card, assuming it was the same price as earlier. I asked why the wine was so expensive, and she replied, “we sold out of the house wine.” Out of respect, I think it's important to share this information with people so they know. Unfortunately, not everyone can afford to pay $22 for a small glass of wine at a standard pub. It’s not like I was at the FOUR seasons Hotel. The response I got from the staff member lacked total care and was really disappointing. It took over 40 minutes to get my cocktail made, and I had to leave my bingo game twice before I asked for a refund, which I eventually got.I am understanding of pubs being understaffed, but a little bit of communication wouldn’t go amiss. The young bartender that served me really needs some etiquette in customer service. You can't pour wines that people may not be able to afford. It was embarrassing saying no as she had set up the payment machine, and with six people behind me wanting to buy drinks, I didn’t want to cause a problem.Next time, please teach your younger staff how to communicate. Customer service isn't a degree-level skill!I enjoyed the bingo night, however not sure if it’s worth coming back.
