The website and quotation process was convenient and the hire was reasonable by wedding standards. Unfortunately the company kept hounding me for the final payment when it had already been paid by my mother-in-law. Finally the day before the wedding I paid a second time as I figured by mother-in-law had made a mistake. It turns out she hadn't made a mistake at all! As soon as the money went into their account the owner stopped replying to my texts, emails and has been difficult to get on the phone. While the equipment hire and wedding went off without a hitch, I'm still waiting for my money back.Update: it's been two weeks and my money has not been refunded. this is a dodgy company, do not use!!

My husband and I hired marquees and party supplies from Gorokan Party Hire in late December for our wedding. 3 days before Christmas infact. If we could give them 6 stars we would... 10 even! Matt and his team were so fantastic. They were able to work with us on our property to ensure all our needs were met and every expectation exceeded! Our lands layout meant we required some tweaking to original plans but Matt being a party planner extraordinare made sure we had exactly what we needed for every type of weather - and we had every type of weather to test it out on the day - and our wedding was perfect because of it!The team thought of everything, going out of their way to please young and old and such a pleasure to deal with. We would recommend to friends and family and anyone who asks. And hope to use them for our anniversary shindigs in the future!

Great service at an affordable price. Loved having the marquee, tables, chairs, barrels and bar stools, and festoon lights. Highly recommend
