Yang’s Dumpling
Would recommend yang’s dumplings if you enjoy bland food and less than average service. The server treated customers with little to no respect, even side eyeing her after she complimented the chef, ordering felt rushed and pushy. The food was to nicely put it… unseasoned. The dumplings were alright, not enough to get me to come back here again. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone looking for a nice experience!

Food was ok though the portion seems kinda small. Service was friendly. The place was pretty chill if you came in between 1 and 5. This was because it gets busy with customers and Tafe students. Overall a pretty nice place to eat with friends

Ordered from door dash pan-fried pork buns, braised beef brisket noodles (rice noodles) in pork soup, and BBQ pork noodles (egg noodles). Pork buns had burnt bottoms, which totally spoiled the pork ball inside... this has potential if cooked properly. The meat and pork soup were very tasty, but the noodles were so overcooked bland and textually awful that we couldn't enjoy our food... how do you not know how to cook noodles. Can not recommend this place and your hard earned money should go elsewhere.

Handmade dumplings is a draw card as they are definitely nicer than store bought. However, the filling tends to be very salty. Pork broth is nicer than most Chinese takeaways. Sweet potato noodle soup promised Szechuan pepper but didn't deliver. The girl at the order counter was the only one who could speak a little English and was abrupt and unhelpful I.e she made no suggestions and the answer to any question was no we don't do that"or "it doesn't exist" which was not true. She also gave the "I don't want to be here" vibe. This place has the potential to be ready good but unfortunately the factors mentioned drop them back into the average category."

The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly. I ordered the house-made soy milk (nice and sweet), mushroom buns and the really yummy and super cute piggy custard buns. My friend ordered the pork buns.Even though we came on Saturday night the food came very quickly. There is plenty of seating including one large table for a bigger group.I am vegetarian so I was limited in what I could order but it was easy to find those options on the menu in English without needing to ask for help. The dessert buns were especially delicious.

Not a bad local dumpling spot; I thought the dumplings were pretty good in general but someother things like the squid tentacles and the hot and sour soup were hit and miss (or maybe just some differently to what I normally expect!)

I’ve been to Yang’s Dumplings a handful of times. Always enjoy the food here. It is usually not too busy so it’s a good spot if you want quick service. My favourites are the Pan Fried Pork Dumplings and the Fried Bun & Condensed Milk (Mantou).

I ordered the brisquet beef and noodles dry with clear soup on the side. Well the bowl came out with 5 little cubes of fatty beef that was as tough as ever, not edible, and the noodles were average at best. Now the clear soup was full of MSG, and they boast that they do not engage with MSG in their food, now that is a blatant lie.My recommendation, is to please stay away from this place. It is a Disaster, total waste of money

Ordered chive steamed bao’s, cucumbers, dumplings and drinks. The hot soy milk was probably the only item I enjoyed.Service was slow, they didn’t have any ginger to go with the Xiao Long Bao’s.When the steamed buns arrived, we got into them and were sorely disappointed that they were so empty.Cucumbers arrived looking very smashed and sad. Badly cut and plated. The waitress informed us that they were traditionally smashed and I shrugged it off and accepted the fact.Overall cheap food and okay. Not recommending.
