They were very informative right from the request for quote stage, subsequent design layout and app functionality discussion. and all the way through to post installation support. The install team was neat and polite and did a quality job. The system is matched to my needs and the Pulse app is very useful for understanding how I use energy so I can lower my bill. The bill analysis feature in the app is great too.

AVOID THIS COMPANYI am compelled to share my utterly disappointing and frustrating experience with Clipsal Solar, a company that claims to provide solar installation services. From the very beginning, my encounter with them has been nothing short of a nightmare.I approached Clipsal Solar to have a solar system installed. Little did I know that this decision would lead to a series of catastrophic events that would haunt me for over a year. I'm left with significant financial burden, mental health issues and home that has been damaged and infested with possums due to the exposed roof sections that had to be removed due to water damages.The installation performed by Clipsal Solar was not only faulty but also resulted in severe damage to my roof. As a consequence, I have been plagued with ongoing issues and unforeseen expenses to fix their shoddy workmanship. Despite my best efforts to communicate and seek resolution directly with the company, I have been met with indifference, delay, and a complete lack of responsibility.To add insult to injury, the communication from Clipsal Solar has been abysmal. It's been over a year since I reached out to them, and there has been no response or any sign of genuine concern for the predicament they have put me in. Their lack of professionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction is deeply disheartening.Not only have I had to endure the financial burden of rectifying their mistakes, but I am also left in a state of complete helplessness. The fact that Clipsal Solar has left me with no choice but to pursue legal action speaks volumes about their lack of integrity and accountability.I strongly caution anyone considering Clipsal Solar for their solar installation needs. Save yourself the headache, the sleepless nights, and the financial strain. Look elsewhere for a reputable company that values customer satisfaction, quality workmanship, and takes responsibility for their actions.

From the initial contact right through to the after sales support I have found Clipsal to be skilled and professional in all respects. They openly and honestly discussed options, and supplied the system that we both felt was the best for our situation. The installation was done promptly efficiently, despite my roof being unusually steep (60 degree slope) .I have no hesitation in recommending Clipsal as a terrific company to deal with, for solar.

Clipsal Solar has been great from start to end. The installation process was seamless, the installers were helpful and installed the complete system without issue (I've heard of many other 'cheap' installers which left holes in the roof, damaged ceilings and cut pipes for a quick install). I've had the system installed for 6 months and we haven't faced any issues, wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Clipsal folks were a pleasure to deal with. I had a fairly large job that included panels and a battery. Jobs this size are complex with many moving parts. Everything went well during the install - they were very communicative and the installers were professional and capable.A couple of small issues came up after the install - and Clipsal was all over them. They helped me move some panels to a better location based on panel data that was available after the install and some other minor things.It's the after sales support that gets Clipsal 5 stars here. They even rang me and did a post install survey, and check in from time to time.The pulse app is pretty cool too - sure you get a lot of data from your SolarEdge, Powerwall or what ever else you may have, but they don't break it down by appliance - very cool to see aggregate usage over time.

I received 3 recommendations for providers from the SolarQuotes.com.au website which vet their companies for your area. I ended up deciding to go with Clipsal as they were the best in terms of professionalism, prompt sales who were genuinely interested in fulfilling my requirements, both in price and installation. Clipsal's nominated installation team from Trill Electrical installed the Clipsal designed system and they were again professional and did a great job.Followup service and assistance was received from Clipsal shortly after the installation. They discussed with me the Pulse monitoring App and walked me through its advantages as well as asking for my feedback.All in all, I would thoroughly recommend Clipsal as a trustworthy and great Solar company to deal with for solar installations in the Blue Mountains.

We obtained 4 quotes under the NSW Empowering Homes program. Only the quote from Clipsal Solar addressed the criteria we has given to all: we wanted to incorporate a battery to give us as much independence as possible in order to lessen “electricity bill shock”, and we wanted to integrate our existing 5kw array and inverter into whatever new system we might end up with. We sent Jayden from Clipsal copies of our last four quarterly bills and he sent three extremely detailed and professionally presented quotations for us to consider. Each quotation incorporated Pulse analytics. We selected the one we thought the most suitable and Clipsal then project-managed the process through installation to commissioning.Installation occurred through a time of lockdowns and business/travel restrictions, but Clipsal kept us fully informed when things had to stop for a while. We’ve had a fully-commissioned system in operation for just over two months, and the results have far exceeded our expectations. The inverter manages the daily battery recharging and the export of surplus power and even on wet days we have not been less that 97% self-sufficient. Our monthly power bills have all been in credit, with the most likely outcome that our winter bills will be covered by our summertime credits. An amazing turnaround. Pulse reports on a minute-to-minute basis so that we are always aware of how the system is performing.We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Clipsal Solar to anyone considering a first or subsequent installation or incorporation of devices such as hot water or electric vehicle chargers. Great options available and helpful customer service. After a few hiccups with COVID and product supply and getting the app connected as we need - The system seems to be running just as expected. The team has been very responsive to any inquiry and the monitoring app is amazing. It's very satisfying to be able to watch what the panels are doing. Installers were polite and cleaned up after themselves. Thanks for a good experience despite the few small issues we encountered early on.

Jake the salesperson is very professional in providing accurate answers and gets to the point quickly. He was able to explain the product's benefits and finally, in his humorous way, convinced me to go with Clipsal Solar.The installation team was delightful. They were punctual and the boys were very friendly. They ensured my place is clean and tidy after the installation.Customer service is excellent. James, is extremely patient with me, a customer who is not very literate in technology! He was also prompt in organising the grid connection. The Pulse App is such a fantastic way of keeping tract of the solar panels' efficiency.In future, I sincerely hope Clipsal Solar will continue with this great service if I do encounter any problems with the solar system.
