I have taken my car to Steven at Somer Automotive several times now. Every time, he has done the work in a faster time frame the other local mechanics quote, you aren't hit with any nasty surprises, and the work is done to an excellent standard. Service is friendly and they often have the car ready sooner than expected. I HIGHLY recommend anyone in Townsville looking for a quality, no-bull" mechanic to take their car to Somer Automotive. Took me years to find one

My mechanic. Steve is honest and an exceptional mechanic. If he says you need this , or that for your vehicle you know it needs it. Your not treated like a number or overcharged like the big workshops ie ford, holden etc

I recently had my Mercedes A180 serviced and it was the first time that I had it serviced outside of the dealership. I was reluctant at first but was truly amazed with the professionalism and quality of work that Ludwig and Nicola has provided to me. My car had a fault message that I though they would not be able to fix but they did. The value of their work and the price of the service are excellent. This business truly shows empathy and values the customer satisfaction which I hope others would follow.
