Getting 5 stars purely because of the service.We came in to sus out the new venue, and have a drink. The service of the staff was exceptional, finally a place with professional staff.We only had a cocktail each and a beef tataki but it was Devine. Thank you Mitch for your wonderful service can’t wait to be back B

Rubi Red Kitchen and Bar
Went for a mid-week dinner with a few friends. Great experience, friendly and knowledgeable staff and excellent food. We each got a drink, and shared 3 small and 2 medium plates. Staff were very accommodating of allergen concerns which was greatly appreciated. A little pricey for the portion sizes, however it was quite standard for the area, and the quality of the food reflected the pricing. Will definitely be returning!@travel__eat__repeat_

We ordered the 7 course tasting menu plus a couple oysters and dessert as add on.Overall a nice dinner. Except the chicken curry is too salty to eat on it's own, has to eat with rice. And the dessert is average.

Thank you Ryan, Keira and the Rubi Red team, for a wonderful evening. We loved your cocktails and the food was elegant and delicious. Although I am a vegetarian, I didn't feel left out at all with the beautiful vegetarian options I had. I can't wait to visit again!

Chefs put out a wonderful product. The food is top quality.That was enough to earn them one star.Volume of the music was at night club levels, which for a Saturday lunch with 4 tables of guests was something to behold. One staff member turned it down when asked, then it was returned to a higher level by another who then told us it was impossible to turn down at all. Generally inattentive staff who chose chatting amongst themselves over service of patrons. The female staff member who started after we had been there some time took our order immediately and was very attentive. All in all a very unsatisfying visit. We moved on to another local establishment and had a great day. Wouldn't go again. Not the first review that has suggested music levels are at stupid levels. Not sure what ambience the crew are going for but Surfers Niteclub is an interesting one.
