Cold Country Organics

I have always wanted to sign up for a weekly box such as the ones that Cold Country Organics offers, and they do not disappoint. Being able to support local farms and businesses while eating seasonally to support the environment was a huge driver in looking to sign up for a service like this, and they absolutely deliver. In fact, I feel incredibly lucky as I am just blown away by the quality of the produce, the variety that is offered, the amount received, and the impeccable customer service on top of all of this from Cold Country Organics.One piece of deciding to subscribe to a service like this was a worry about cost in comparison to what one could find at a larger grocery corporation in town. But I have found, in comparing the costs, that what I pay each week for my produce from Cold Country Organics is incredibly comparable, and even more so when I consider that everything is organic and again, local. On top of this we have had items in our boxes that are currently out of stock in the stores, a wonderful surprise when previously it's been a gamble on whether or not oranges would be available on the shelves.Bonus points for the fact that everything tastes absolutely amazing and is unimaginable quality. One week I happened to have a bok choy in my fridge from a previous in store grocery shop and the size comparison was ridiculous, truly put the in--store produce to shame. The variety of what we have received has made each week so fun to explore what we get - varieties of green beans and squash that you would never find in store! I can't wait to discover more and more produce to help inspire my cooking each week.

Excellent value for money, a great variety of fruit and veg, and friendly home delivery. Highly recommended. I love it that there's always a good mix of staples like potatoes and carrots, plus seasonal gems like artichokes or asparagus. Once, I even got a chocolate pudding fruit :)

Love having fresh, organic fruit and vegetables delivered straight to my door. The quality is always excellent and the variety to what I can get in shops keeps us trying beautiful new foods. Clare is always so lovely and helpful and the recipe of the week helps with delicious creations!

One of the best decisions my partner and I have made coming into the new year is our switch from buying our veggies weekly at the supermarket to having local, seasonal, organic produce delivered to our door. Every week, the fruit and veg is absolutely gorgeous, and it feels good knowing that we are supporting a small, local business AND local farmers. Clare is so kind and helpful whenever we have any questions. I highly highly recommend to anybody who loves convenience, fresh, seasonal produce, wonderful customer service, and supporting local businesses.

I have lost trust in Coles and Woolworths organic food due to their international connections, damage to the life force due to transport and storage, and the packaging ... I am sincerely grateful for the work you and the team do to provide the most phenomenally, beautiful, healthy, fresh organic food.CCO food is so fresh and delicious, full of antioxidants and health benefits. The Cauliflower today was exceptional. I have never tasted a cruciferous vege so fresh and beautiful as that raw cauliflower, nor seen one so healthy - picture perfect.As you know health is my number one focus, and I know that this food is as healthy as it can get other than growing it in my backyard with fully replenished soils and lots of time and energy which ... unfortunately ... is not available at the moment.Huge appreciation,  Marion

Beautiful fresh produceDelivered every week by Clare.I’m so happy I found you guys.Every single box iv had has far exceeded my expectations.We are particularly enjoying the random things iv never heard of, it gets the creativity flowing in the kitchen every week.

Our weekly subscription has changed our world in unexpected ways!Our grocery bill has been significantly cut as we no longer need to keep popping to the shops for veggies that quickly deteriorate. This has saved us heaps as we realise there were always ‘extras’ and ‘just in case’ items we were purchasing.AND - our meal prep focus has changed. Now, the hero of the meal is always veg focussed. Somehow, without planning, we are enjoying eating the fresh, vibrant veggies so much that meat seems to have fallen by the wayside. Impressive change for a previously meat- focussed family.We are eating better than ever. The product is always across the rainbow in colours and nutrients.
