My favourite winery in Mclaren vale, they have great light reds that are more unique for the area (not just Grenache!) yet showcase the climate and geography of Mclaren vale really wells.

We were recommended to stop at this winery and glad we did. This place is a gem, the wines are different compared to all what we've tried before and the story behind each of them is unique... definitely a must in the Vale !!!

Went in to Lino Ramble off a tip that they had an interesting Muscat. Knowing next to nothing about their wines, we were pleasantly surprised to find wines made from Italian, Portuguese and even Georgian grapes, a refreshing change to other producers in the area. Andy hosted our tasting telling his many tales about the wines, each with a touch of humor and passion. Lovely seating, left with a couple bottles definitely worth your time!

We ventured into the cellar door hosting produce from 3 different wineries. As we sat listening to Andy regaling us with origin stories, we savoured wines and laughed. Wine tasting is an experience, one to be enjoyed, and Andy and Angela really understand this. Adding to the scintillating repartee was the wonderful wines made here. There is a point of difference we look for when trying wines, and the superb quality and style of these wines will want you telling your friends about them too.

A charming cellar door experience. We made a point to visit a lot of the smaller winemakers during our McLaren Vale trip and ended up here while visiting Sherrah across the hallway. We came away with a white and a bottle of Muscat following an extensive and very warm and personal tasting experience.

I have never met such a knowledgeable, forward thinking, passionate winemaker as Andy. Using grapes more suitable to the Vale climate (and the changes that climate change will bring), Andy makes wines that are great for drinking, but also have the soul of the area they grow in and therefore are great to pair with food. His wines are different and will knock your socks off if you are prepared to be challenged on what an Aussie wine can be. I just wish we had more capacity in our suitcase to fly more of his wine to the UK.

Fabulous place. The guy who served us knew his stuff, was attentive but didn't hover. Great views, great wine!

A very cute and quaint cellar door with some very interesting, more Mediterranean style wines. A friendly host who I enjoyed chatting with. Small, boutique winery!
